BOXYCHARM’s Luquarterly upgrade to BOXYCHARM that has 8 full-sized products to keep you going between shipments. I was super happy with what I saw inside the box, I couldn’t wait to try every item, and these were steady performers too. Read on to see what I received!

Once again, this is a BOXYCHARM Luxe Box review.

Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Happi Scalp Scrub ($38) Ooh, a scalp scrub! I have a sensitive scalp so this product may have to wait a while since I’ve already tried a new hair product this week but it can also be used on the face and body. It has a long tube applicator so you can section hair and apply it directly to the scalp. Then you rub it into dry hair, wait at least 10 minutes, then rinse, shampoo, condition, and so on. Sephora says it’s not for use during the daytime as it has alpha hydroxy acid and may increase sun sensitivity. I used it on my body and it provided a gentle exfoliation, the beads aren’t super big or rough. I didn’t see fragrance listed but it smells like cherry almond hand lotion.

Fenty Skin Hydra’Reset Intensive Recovery Glycerin Hand Mask ($25) This mask is really a thick hand cream that you wear overnight so you can wake up to soft hands in the morning and it did its job very well. It has a glycerin base and panthenol, mango seed butter, and dimethicone. It has a light floral fragrance and it feels a bit like rubbing petroleum jelly all over, except it’s not quite as greasy. I went straight to bed after applying and my hands felt good in the morning.

Kate Somerville HydraKate Recharging Serum ($78) This serum is supposed to deliver two different hyaluronic acid weights into the skin (they reach different depths based on their molecular weights). Apply 2-3 pumps of serum to skin and let dry completely before covering with moisturizer. The creamy white serum has a light floral/herbal scent.

LYS Beauty Complexion Brush Duo ($30 listed value) I am super happy that I now have these brushes in my collection! I did the full-face makeup and accidentally used the Sculpt/Bronzing brush with liquid foundation and it worked like a dream, the dense bristles helped get the product exactly where I needed it. I then used it to dab some bronzer here and there and buffed it out and didn’t hate the results. Score!

UOMA Drama Bomb Extreme Volume Nourishing Mascara ($19.50) Please note that the container looks different here than at the brand’s website. It’s water resistant and is supposed to provide volume. My experience is that one mascara is pretty much similar to the next and this was no different but it does have a cool-looking container!

KVD Beauty Tattoo Pencil Eyeliner in Trooper Black ($23) I haven’t stopped using this eyeliner since I received it, I love it! I’m familiar with the KVD liquid liner and although I don’t like liquid liner I’ve always felt that it was a good one. This is a twist-up liner that has that same staying power, it lasts all day. We were having a great time at work, laughing until tears were streaming, and it still stayed in place without smudging. Make sure to remove it all before bedtime, I did notice a little extra this morning when I was doing today’s makeup. Swatched below.

Pat McGrath Celestial Nirvana Eyeshadow Palette ($36) Well isn’t this a whole lot of sparkle! Supposedly this palette drops during the Holiday Season 2022 but that has come and gone. I applied the sparkles but didn’t use the black shade although it would probably smudge well under my lashes for a smoky eye look. I experienced fall out but that’s common with glittery shades. I think Daisy Jones would approve of this palette because she wore a dark-smudge-with-sparkles look at her final concert with The Six — it made me instantly think of this palette.

Iconic London Multi-Use Lip & Cheek Palette ($49) I like cream blushes and I really liked this palette. The blushes were buildable and went on super smoothly and were easily blended. I applied to my lips too and there it gave just a wash of color, a little tint with a balm-like feeling. The bottom right shade was the darkest/brightest, and even that one wasn’t as scary as it seemed at first. I used my fingers to apply but you could use a brush or blending sponge if you prefer.

Ipsy and BOXYCHARM have merged completely so there was some helpful info included.

The BOXYCHARM Luxe Box certainly ended on a high note! I was excited for every product I received, so many good brands and most of them are found at Sephora. My favorite was the KVD pencil liner — it’s easy to apply and stays in place all day long, I can’t ask for anything more than that! I am also loving the Fenty hand cream, the Lys makeup brushes, and the Iconic London lip/cheek palette. The Kate Somerville was the one product that didn’t thrill me but that’s only because it has perfume (which I avoid on my face). The rest of the items were either fun to try (the eye shadow palette) or everyday standards (the mascara, the scalp/body scrub). The value for my box assortment was around $300!

Below you will find a few more box opening photos plus the product info card.
