Able skin care, Avant, and Symbiosis are all the same cream. The ingredients are virtually identical right down to the 2 types of dye and “parfum” that one Allure editor claims smells “just like an almond croissant !” only it doesn’t. They all use the same formula whether it’s an eye cream, a face/eye cream in one, or a resurfacing cream.
I read about someone who found out that this company who makes this stuff claimed to have actual stores in Florida and in The UK but those locations couldn’t be reached and a few of them were Home Depot locations. Something very fishy going on here. Is Allure in cahoots with the makers of this cream in order to make a cheap filler product that they can claim costs over $90 for the “Symbiosis London” 15ml “eye” variety, and $114 for the “Avant” 50 ml face and eye night cream, and$132 for the “Able Skincare Anti-Ageing Retexturing & Resurfacing Duo Moisturizer(which later was marked down to $20 in their member store). All of these products count as a Full size Allure beauty box item. This is not fair that some random company who cant even be reached make a generic product that can be used by Allure to crank up the value of their beauty boxes. They love to give us itty bitty high-end samples if were lucky, and full size lower price items. The Symbiosis, Avant, and Able creams all have the same dyes (making them a light orange color) and the same cheap kind of fresh scent “parfum” (not sure why an eye cream needs this) which makes them much safer to be used as a hand or foot cream. The ingredients have a few good oils like Sweet Almond oil and Shea Butter, which are nice. They also have HA and Niacinamide which are in literally everything right now and that’s great, But these ingredients are not worthy of the price that Allure claims they are worth.
I think they must be targeting a younger and less sophisticated consumer . I will be searching for a higher-end luxe beauty box which I thought Allure would be when they raised their prices.
April was a great box. Currently using the face mask every other night and my skin feels so soft. I got the shadow stick also but haven’t used it yet. And I love trying new perfumes. I’m also always down for some basic necessities so I personally love that they threw a razor in there.

I haven’t subscribed to Allure in a while but the Fenty lipstick in the refillable case being the new member gift got me to subscribe. For $15 (using the SPRINGSALE code) its totally worth it. I’ll use everything and I’ve been wanting to try the Fenty lipstick forever. I went with the shade Motha Luva. I was going to choose MVP but its not the right shade of red for me. Super excited for this one and it’s been a long time since Allure spoilers got me excited
Looks like the RealHer items were an either/or.
The Amazon box has the eyeshadow stick, which for me is good because I already have the eyeliner.
The Amazon box also does not have the Able skincare product, which is also fine. I tried it and it’s okay, but that’s about it.
The replacement is skin cream from Avant. I’m not sure if I’ve tried it.
How do I select a lipstick shade for the April box? I am not a new subscriber…. Is lipstick only for new?

I’m not able to choose my shade
I joined in March and like that box. I was under the impression that I could skip a box if it doesn’t interest me. The April box doesn’t interest me and there’s no way to skip April. May isn’t even listed but June is. Says I can skip June. So I canceled my subscription. I have a feeling I’ll be charged for April and May. Maybe I need to cancel my card.
I think the RealHer eyeliner is a repeat.
It is VERY shiny.

I’m actually looking forward to this box! Including a razor is a great idea I think although I would have loved the hair serum to be full sized too. Can’t wait too get this one for sure…. FINALLY, a box to be excited about.
