Your Alien Returns by Tammi Saver ($16.99) The first book in the box shares an out-of-this-world experience of a human boy on an extraterrestrial planet. It’s a heartwarming sequel to the fun book, Your Alien. The boy feels like an outsider on his alien friend’s planet, but with its assistance, he finds a way to fit in! It tells a lovely story of friendship despite differences. Plus, the entire book is filled with engaging illustrations. Kids who are interested in outer space and alien stories will LOVE this book!

Grow, Candace, Grow by Candace Cameron Bure ($10.99) The next story teaches patience through growing a classroom garden. Little Candace, the main character, decides to offer a little help to quickly grow her dream flowers. She soon realized that patience is a gardener’s most important tool. The book features the perfect combination of bright illustrations and a cute storyline. It’s the perfect story to read in spring, with an honesty and friendship theme! Plus, the embossed details and glittery effects on the cover added to its appeal.

The Wizard of Poob by Peter Bently ($14.95) Lastly, here’s a picture book that’ll allow young readers to practice phonics with non-words. This book is a part of the Monsters’ Nonsense series. The story talks about how monsters from Planet Pok discovered a strange spaceship owned by a wizard from another planet and how they helped him in saving Planet Poob from space slugs. The whole book is filled with vibrant drawings and silly monster names, making it fun to read. There are even guided questions in the back for more fun!

Each box also includes a kid’s craft kit, and this month, it’s a DIY Foam Bug Mask. All the materials are provided, making it easy for my kids to finish the craft. It’s such a cute mask!
