I have been reviewing STRONG selfie for a while now and was sad to let it go when my daughter started college this past fall. I was stoked to see that they now offer a College (ages 18+) version in addition to the Tween (ages 7-12) and Teen (ages 13-17) collections and even more surprising is that this once quarterly subscription is now monthly! Limitless Journal Journaling is a great way to start the year, and a blank page leaves so much room for possibilities! The cover of this journal has constellations and stars are woven into a couple of the other products too shown below.
The pages of this journal all have a square grid layout, which makes it easier to make blocks and other bullet journal entries as opposed to a strictly “this is what I did today” type of diary. Pinterest has lots of ideas on how to decorate a bullet journal/bujo in case your daughter wants a little more help in how to use this kind of journal.
Crystal Jade Roller A jade facial roller is usually used with facial oils or moisturizers to help it glide over the face. The benefits were listed on the box, although I have to disagree with ‘rolls out wrinkles”; once they are there, nothing short of a trip to the doctor’s office can help. Young ladies, please use sunscreen now if you’re not already doing so! Alright, mom lecture over now.
Here are the instructions, and of course YouTube has lots of demonstrations available. The larger side is perfect for cheeks and forehead while the smaller end can be used under the eyes.
Mila Zodiac Signs Bracelet Although this is called a zodiac signs bracelet, I think moon and stars is a better descriptor.
There are three stars with crystals and one moon also has those jewels.
I wasn’t able to measure the bracelet because it has an adjustable lariat or bolo closure, just pull the golden balls on the ends to adjust once you slip it over your wrist.

Constellation Gel Pen Set ($12.99) While this is called a constellation pen set (and yes it is), I also think zodiac would work here since it has each sign represented! There are 12 total and they each have an extra fine tip and write in black ink. What a cute set!
I thought the January box from STRONG selfie was adorable and the theme was stellar, but what do I know, I’m not a college student. I asked Karina, age 18 and a college freshman, what she thinks of the box and she loved it! She was at the end of her winter break when the box was delivered and she was excited to take them back to her dorm. She seemed especially taken with the jade roller and bracelet and even let me keep the gel pen that goes with my sign.
