Laura Geller Baked Balance-n-Brighten Color Correcting Foundation ($34) This color correcting foundation works well in hiding away the skin’s imperfections. The formula is lightweight, creamy, and easy to blend. I am in awe with how the product adjusts to my skin tone just a few minutes of putting it on and it really looks even and flawless.
Infused with ingredients like Centella Asiatica and white tea extract, this foundation also brings skincare benefits so the skin not only looks picture perfect but also stays hydrated throughout the day!
UOMA Afro.Dis.Iac Liquid Eyeliner in Blackety Black Y’all ($18) I love this well-pigmented liquid eyeliner! It glides smoothly and the tip allows me to create the perfect cat eye every single time. I also like how this stays on all day without smudging and it’s even water-resistant!
My Choices
Mischo Beauty Lip Shine Sheer Lip Balm ($22) I got to pick a few items and this lip balm is one of them. At first, I chose this because of its pretty packaging but I’m happy I did because the product itself was great. I thought it will have full opacity and pigment when I saw the product but it actually just adds a bit of color to my lips that looks natural. I’m really happy with it because its also comfortable to wear. Formulated with jojoba oil, coconut oil, and vitamin E, this also helps keep my lips soft, smooth, nourished, and hydrated all day long!
Girlactik Glow on the Go in Jet Setter ($21) Here’s another one of my choices, an easy-to-use highlighter that’s perfect for travelling! It’s very versatile because you can use it to highlight high points of your face and even brighten dark spots. The formula is very creamy and easy to blend as well. It even has waterproof pearlescent pigments for a naturally radiant look!
Murad Acne Control Rapid Relief Acne Spot Treatment ($23) I also picked this acne spot treatment! It reduces redness and even the blemish size, and it works best for oily skin. Sorry for the fuzzy picture! My daughter swiped this (and I selected it for her) for dealing with troubling acne spots. So great to be able to share beauty loot!
To use, just get a small amount and apply to problem area. It contains 2% salicylic acid that targets blemishes while also helping to exfoliate the skin and keep the pores clean.
I received over $100 worth of products in this month’s IPSY Glambag Plus and I couldn’t be happier! Aside from getting great value for money, I also received amazing skincare and cosmetic items. My favorite among them is the sheer lip balm because it works like a lip balm and a tint in one. It provides me with a beautiful and natural looking lip color while also making sure that my lips stay soft and nourished. The eyeliner was also very promising and I look forward to using it more often in the coming days. All in all, this is such an awesome box. True to its theme, the beauty items in this box are great for everyday use, whether you’re going to school or to work!
