Here are the cards included inside this month’s box that explains more about the items! It includes Peek-A-Boo Base, Hide-and-seek Mat, Pop-up Roller, Animal Match-up, and Animal Puzzles.
The back of the card lists ways on how you or the child can use the item.
Also included in the box are Beyond The Crate Cards! These cards feature activities you can do to bond with babies. It includes Lights On Lights Off, Sink or Float, Go Car Go!, and Bowled Over.
The back of each card contains a list of what you need for the activity and easy-to-follow instructions. There are helpful tips for parents as well.
Animal Puzzles. This canvas pouch contains puzzles to help improve a baby’s fine motor and cognitive skills!
There are 4 puzzle pieces, sized to be comfortably held by a baby’s small hands. They are made with wood and designed with non-toxic, water-based paint and varnish. One side features different animals, numbers, and colors. According to Panda Crate, you can lay down these puzzle pieces and encourage toddlers to arrange the pieces in order, from 1 to 4.
The other side of puzzle pieces feature a beautiful scenery and you can help toddlers arrange them to form a picture of a park.
Peek-A-Boo Base. Here’s a wooden base which provides another fun way of playing with the puzzle pieces!
Each puzzle piece fits perfectly on the slots!
It firmly stands on its own and I like that there are no sharp edges which makes it really safe for babies to play with!
This peek-a-boo base slightly shows a part of each puzzle piece. There’s also a color indicator that provides a clue on what’s inside. When you tap one puzzle piece, another piece pops up! It’s such a fun toy and it’s also a great form of repetitive play.
Animal Match-Up. Here’s another fun and engaging toy for the toddlers, an animal match up game. It includes 8 cards sized for little hands, which kids can use to practice identifying big and small, categorizing animals, and sorting them into a pair.
According to Panda Crate, it’s great to practice sorting, identifying, and categorizing at an early age because they are foundational math skills!
Pop-Up Roller. This wooden pop-up toy introduces toddlers to cause and effect. Just like the other toys in the crate, it’s colored using non-toxic, water-based paint and varnish.
It has tabs on its sides that moves with gravity, which makes it a nice interactive toy. Panda Crate suggests to let toddlers figure out how the toy works! Another way to play with it is to call out a color and encourage your little one to find it on the toy.
Hide-And-Seek Mat. It’s a hide and seek toy which helps expand symbolic thinking skills through lifting the flaps! It can be folded so you can easily store it in a bag when you’re on-the-go, or in a cabinet when you’re at home.
Included in the set are 3 wooden pieces that represent the animals: a cat, a dog, and a bunny.

Aside from playing hide-and-seek, you can also use the animals to encourage pretend play.
