This is $50 on top of the regular $25, so it’s $75. For that money I received ONE usable product, a face mask. There would have been a makeup remover, but they put it in a tube and you can’t get the thick product out of the tube. Maybe if you soak it in hot water first, but then it would most likely run every where. All the other products were items ipsy had already sent me (sometimes more than once) were things I said I didn’t like/couldn’t use or were just hideously wrong. (black eyebrow pen for someone with light brown brows? Brown lipstick/nude eye palatte for a cool skinned prson who’s specified they want none of that? Why ask what we want then send the opposite? I’m throwing all of it away. I do this with each bag/box because no one wants it. The worst might be the acne products that they send even though my very dry skin profile also says I’m in my 50s. And that is why I canceled. One. Usable. Item. It retailed for about $58. Should have never subscribed to Glam X, but the first box was good. It’s honestly worse than the last big box they tried ultra or something? And be super sus of any post saying they got that CT cream because social media is full of people angry that no one got it but influencers. If you are in sub box groups, people there didn’t get them either.
My bag was just okay. The only reason it wasn’t a waste is because I was able to choose the christophe robin scalp scrub that is valued at $53, everything else is basically a gift with purchase for me. I thought it’d be more skin care heavy. I got the 111 that everyone else got, the mac lipstick, the abh brow pen (right shade), the Ole Heriksen primer (have used this before it is quite awful on my skin), and the one size palette. Chose the scalp scrub, sunday riley glow oil, and the train case.
I’m looking forward to getting the train case. I received a couple when Glam Bag Ultra was a thing and they work really well.
This is my first glam bag X and I am beyond excited! I got the 111 Skin Serum, Charlotte Tillbury Magic Cream, Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pen, Tower 28 Gloss, Herbivore Botanicals Glowing Facial as my curated products! I can’t believe it! For my choices I took the Olaplex, Route Beauty Party Peel and the Moon oral care whitening pen. I’m just beyond excited and super pleased. I will definitely continue subscribing for the Glam Bag X!

I have literally nothing I wanted. Everything I got was terrible, and the brow product isn’t even in the right color. I didn’t get a single one of the even vaguely decent products. The Patrick Starr palette is the only thing that’s OK, but that costs less money than the subscription itself. If I wanted that, I would just buy it and not pay the extra money. I immediately emailed them and begged them to please cancel my subscription this month because I didn’t want a single thing.
Did anyone also only have the option of somewhere between 10 and 15 add-ons?
I’m never wasting my money on this again. There were six items I was desperate to get (not counting the item from 111) but I didn’t get any of them in my choices. I realize bags like this are total luck of the draw – we all know Khloe Kardashian isn’t actually curating these bags for us, right? – but if there were six products I was desperate to have, they chose five for me and then I had the choice of three items, shouldn’t at least one of those six items have shown up somewhere?

And the III Skin? That’s 3 of the four biggest items. I legit don’t believe any post saying they got the CT unless they’re an influencer. I’ve yet to see one that was real.

This is my first glam bag X and I was pleasantly surprised , I got most of what I was dreaming of#1 CT magic cream, pink diamond cleanser, kosos mascara, tower 28 lip jelly, 111 skin serum, and chose olaprex, party peel, and a Dr Brandt mask. The only item I was wishing for I didn’t get was the prism by herbivore. But this is an awesome box. Thanks ipsy !!😍😍😍

Can I sub for just the Glam bag X? Or do I have to be the monthly subscriber to receive This?
You need to be a subscriber to either the regular Ipsy bag or Ipsy Glam Bag Plus, and also upgrade that subscription to Glam Bag X. You can skip really only once out of every 3 months – the months AFTER glam bag X. If you skip the month prior to X, Ipsy won’t consider you an “active” subscriber so your next month won’t be upgrade. And if you skip during your X months, that’s just a straight out skip of the bag. Does this clarify?
