This Barkbox is for small dogs like our miniature schnauzers, Lindy and Dean, but you can get them for medium and large dogs too. Check out our Barkbox reviews for a peek at the big dog boxes! Plus, they now offer Barkbox SUPER CHEWER – the heavy chewer box!

This month’s theme is FAIRGROUND HOUNDS!

The box this month doesn’t contain any custom-made wrapping paper. Instead, they used this month’s theme to design the carton to cover all the items inside the box.

As usual, there were no extra fillers or squiggles, just treats and toys for your pups to enjoy!

This part of the carton features a variety of photos of the toys that you might get in this month’s collection.

This part of the flap contains a Spin-the-Wheel game which you can play together with your dog!

This month’s box includes a card!

At the back of the card is a coupon code for a free box of BarkBox!

Everything in my August 2020 box!

Woolimena Dog Toy ($10) Woolimena is a sheep plush toy designed for extra-small and small dogs!

According to the label, this toy is made with a crazy crinkle, squeaker, and some fluff.

The cute and soft plush toy has a thick white “fur”!

It squeaks when bitten by my pups. They have enjoyed playing with it so far!

In Queso Emergency Dog Toy ($10) The second toy in the box is a snack-themed plushy designed for small dogs that weigh between 9-20 lbs.

It’s a multi-part toy, consisting of 3 different pieces with built-in crinkle and a pair of squeakers.

The toy includes a small basket with red and white checkered design, and a pair of nachos!

These nachos plush toys are soft yet durable. They also both feature a cute facial expression. I left this toy on the floor, and Dean immediately grabbed the nacho and run!

Thinkers Salmon Dog Stick ($2.49) It’s a delicious dog treat made with real salmon, a great ingredient for dog treats, as it is rich in omega-3 fatty acids that helps improve your pup’s immune system.

This stick also comes with brown rice, pea fiber, calcium, rosemary extracts, and other nutritious ingredients to keep dogs strong and active!

First Prize Treats Lil Quackers Duck Recipe Dog Treats. Here are more healthy snacks for dogs! They came in a resealable bag and they’re made with duck and natural smoked flavor.

According to the label, these snacks are wheat-free, soy-free, corn-free, and grain-free.

Each piece is thick and chewy! Ducks are great for dogs who have sensitivity to other meats such as beef and chicken. It’s a good source of protein and also gives them energy!

Plato Pet Treats Small Bites Made with Organic Chicken ($6.99) The next bag has organic chicken treats for dogs! Aside from protein-rich chicken, it also has sweet potato, pressed tomato, pressed cranberry, pressed, blueberry, and egg.

According to the packaging, these are free from grains and artificial flavors.

Since they are already broken down into small pieces, you can serve them to your pups directly out of the bag! These are also great as training treats for small dogs.

Here’s Dean, posing with the new toys from Barkbox!

We’re pleased with this month’s Barkbox curation, which includes 2 toys, 1 snack stick, and 2 bags of snacks. Both the toys are specially made for small dogs and the treats are all made with healthy ingredients. Our pups’ favorite is the chicken treat that we used as training treats! They kept wanting more! The duck snack and the chewy stick were also pretty good. It’s really good to know that the snacks didn’t just satisfy our dogs’ cravings, but they also contain necessary nutrients to support our dogs’ health. As always, we’re happy seeing our pups happy!
