Herb Stop is a locally owned small business out of Pine, Arizona that offers the AromaBox, a monthly essential oils subscription box. Master Herbalists Leilah Breitler and Natalie Hajdu curate their oils to a theme and all of their essential oils are 100% pure, although some of the more precious oils are thinned with jojoba oil.

AromaBox is $24.95 a month and that includes shipping, plus you can choose to receive this box once a quarter. You will receive 4 bottles of oils – 3 single essential oils (1/6 oz each) and 1 roll-on essential oil blend ready for use. Along with your oils, you will receive a flyer with details on each oil, 3 tips on using each oil, and safety information.

The Herb Stop insists that all ingredients must come from reliable and ethical sources. Leilah and Natalie believe that quality and high standards are essential to create life-enhancing herbal products that are unmatched.

DEAL: Save 15% on your first box with coupon code HELLO15.

FYI – AromaBox is always available through the end of the month, plus you can purchase previous boxes on their website!

I received two cards in my box, one for the business and one with their social media sites.

A third card says I can learn from the owners!

If you are interested in an in-depth course on herbalism then here is a course you can sign up to take.

The theme for June’s box was Mint Sampler. I love all things mint so this was super exciting to see when I opened my box!

The flyer opened up to give more info on each oil. Each oil is described and then it gives you an aromatherapy tip, a tip from Leilah (a Master Herbalist), a tip from Natalie (also a Master Herbalist), and any safety precautions. There is a nice color picture of each herb and the details are easy enough for the newest essential oil enthusiast to understand. I also own an essential oil book that I can refer to but you can always find further uses on Google or Pinterest.

SAFETY NOTE: If you have any health concerns or are pregnant or nursing I would urge you to check with your doctor before using essential oils. The Herb Stop does not endorse the use of essential oils for internal use, unless under the supervision of a qualified practitioner skilled in oral administration of essential oils.

The back of the pamphlet gave info on the featured blend for this month and a recipe for an uplifting spritz. It also had a coupon code for their shop.

Everything arrived safely! How can you put your new oils to use? “Essential oils can be added to carrier oils, lotions, salves, soaps, massage oils, bath salts, or used in an aromatherapy diffuser. The options are endless!”

Everything in the box!

HerbStop Eucalyptus Dives Essential Oil I have never heard of this eucalyptus type before, so I have already learned something new! It is supposed to be a minty version of this familiar tree family, but I detected a hint of something woody and similar to thyme, maybe a hint of tea tree, and definitely some mint. What a cool aroma from a single source!

Each bottle tells which plant it is from, part used, method of extraction, and lot number.

It also notes whether the oil is pure or cut with jojoba oil. All three oils this month are pure.

The bottles have a euro dropper top so that you can get out what you need without waste. Eucalyptus dives can be used to help break up a cough, to freshen the air, and to help skin woes.

HerbStop Peppermint Essential Oil Peppermint is one of my all-time favorite scents, it is so bracing and clean, very refreshing. Peppermint may help fight colds and the flu, stomach issues, and headaches. Of course, you could just place a few drops in a spray bottle with some distilled water and a little alcohol to make a refreshing body spray.

HerbStop Spearmint Essential Oil Spearmint reminds me of gum and like peppermint, it smells like freshness in a bottle. It can also be used to fight headaches and when mixed with some carrier oil you can rub it on the tummy to help move that bloat.

Be Cool Roll On Oil ($16.95) One of my favorite things about this subscription (and believe me, there’s a lot to love!) is the already blended, ready to roll oil blend. It usually contains at least one of the featured oils and is mixed in a base of jojoba oil.

Our featured blend has lime, lemon, lavender, peppermint, and sage plus jojoba oil as the carrier oil. I think lime is the most prominent note here but once that wears off you can smell the mint. I have been freely rolling it on my arms and neck. It is bright and uplifting, like a clear sky after the rainfall.

I enjoyed my June Mint Sampler AromaBox! I love the fresh scents and they always give me a boost whenever I use them. I like to diffuse my oils but there are so many different ways to use them. The Be Cool blend was just what I needed to help add some pep in my step. I think AromaBox is a great way to build your essential oil collection and the tips found in the newsletter are helpful for newbies and old pros alike.
