The sticker seal usually gives us a hint about the featured place.

The sticker says that this month’s featured place is “A smörgåsbord of countries!”

The snacks are well-packed, as always.

The featured place this month is not just a country but a whole region, SCANDINAVIA!

The box is full to the brim!

This colorful map shows an illustration of Scandanavia. It gives us a brief overview of the countries within the region.

There’s a sheet for The Official Yum Awards, where you can rate the snacks!

Aside from the sheet, we also got an awesome booklet!

They even provided a sneak peek for next month’s box!

Inside, it contains more details about Scandanavia like the local languages, relevant dates, upcoming events, etc.

Another feature on the booklet is a trivia quiz.

They also listed down the snacks in this box. Each snack comes with a photo and a long description in the booklet!

They even included some trivia or history about the snack and how it might taste! I’m getting more and more excited!

This month’s YumBag features Swedish treats that I can’t wait to sample!

We loved reading this before taking a bite on this month’s yums!

Everything in my box!

Yum Bag. This Yum Bag contains Scandanavia’s most popular flavors!

Pepperkaks Kola Gingerbread Toffee. Gingerbread and toffee is such a unique combination, and the flavors surprisingly work really great together. It could be a bit hard to chew and it’s super sticky, but it’s definitely worth a try.

Nöt-Créme Cookie Dough Pralines. This one is our favorite out of the three candies! The milk chocolate coating is smooth and creamy, while the inside has cookie dough filling and it’s amazing!

Kolafabriken Fizzy Toffee Bubblegum Toffee. The bubblegum flavor in this toffee doesn’t taste artificial and I can taste the raspberry flavor as well. I like how this is chewier than the gingerbread toffee. It’s still sticky and a bit hard to bite at first but it gets easier to snack on after a bit.

KiM’s American Grill Potato Chips with Grill Seasoning. These potato chips are super crunchy and packed with a spicy kick! Although called “American Grill,” this snack is actually from Norway. It contains a flavorful blend of onion, tomato, paprika, and chili pepper, which makes each bite really satisfying. It’s also a perfect snack for a movie night!

KiM’s Ostepops Original Chessy Corn Puffs. I love me some cheese puffs and this one did not disappoint! It’s made with whey and generously flavored with lots of cheese, so each piece came out bold and addicting. The sweet aftertaste makes snacking on it such a delight.

KiM’s Snack Chips Supersprød Original Potato Snack with Assorted Spices. This snack smelled savory when we opened the pack! It contains crunchy cracker chips, seasoned with cayenne, garlic, and paprika. The flavor is unique and the spices were pretty strong.

Tasty Potato Sticks Sour Cream and Onion Potato Sticks. Inside the pack are potato crisps shaped like fries and they were really crispy and crunchy. They also have a nice zing. It’s no wonder this snack is popular in Norway and Denmark!

Cool Hallon Skalle Skum Raspberry Gummies. These gummies from Sweden are the best. Each piece is soft, chewy, and shaped like a skull.

I was expecting this to be sweet but they’re on the sour side, like a sour gummy. You could taste the raspberry flavor in each bite and it’s pretty good. It’s a great treat for sour candy lovers like us! These were a hit even with the kids!

Franske Vafler Puff Pastry with Cream Filling. These biscuits are called Franske Vafler, which means French waffles, as a tribute to the original makers of pastries!

The snacks were packed in a plastic tray to keep them safe from breaking.

The puff pastry is crunchy and crumbly. I think it’s a perfect blend with the white vanilla creme in the middle.

I love that the filling is not too sweet. This will pair well with a hot beverage for a satisfying afternoon snack.

Choko-Flager Oat Cookies with Cocoa Filling. A popular snack in Denmark, these oat cookies are a specialty of Danish baker Karen Volf.

They came in a tray to prevent them from breaking. The cookies smell good!

Two crispy cookies are joined by rich chocolate in the middle. They’re quite tasty and filling, and they also make fantastic on-the-go snacks.

Chok Skalle Jordgubb Kola Milk Chocolate with Strawberry and Caramel. Yay for more chocolate! We got a pack of strawberry filled chocolates, which are apparently popular during Midsommar or the Swedish festival marking the start of summer.

The chocolates are shaped like little skulls with crossbones!

These chocolates are on the sweet side. The strawberry is a bit tangy and there’s also a hint of caramel that ties up the flavors really well!

Draumur Milk Chocolate with Salted Caramel Crispies. Here’s a treat from Iceland, a chocolate bar filled with yummy crispy puffs!

There are little cats engraved on the chocolate bar and even without breaking it apart, you can already see chunks of the rice crispies inside!

The crispy puffs are even flavored with salted caramel, making this snack really irresistible.

Salmiakki-Matto Salty Licorice Bar. Salty licorice might not be everybody’s favorite but it’s a well-loved snack in Findland. This candy is made with salmiak or ammonium chloride, which gives it an intensely salty flavor. A Scandinavian themed snack box really wouldn’t be complete without this one!

We love Universal Yums! It’s always fun trying out different snacks from all over the world, while learning the culture of the country/region where the snacks came from. This month’s Scandinavian snacks are pretty good! The curation is composed mostly of snacks with strong spices along with delicious chocolate and, of course, the salty licorice. Our favorites are the definitely the cheese puffs and the sour cream flavored potato sticks. Both are really flavorful and enjoyable. Overall, it was a great box! Now, we can’t stop thinking about which yummy destination we will visit next!
