I love opening this box, it always looks so well put together! My items were wrapped in tissue paper that was sealed with a sticker and the items were cushioned in shredded paper. The box is smaller this month and I applaud that move!

I found a set of cards inside the box.

One card had an introduction to the current box, and one for each of the vendors featured in this month’s box. California Found is now part of 1% For The Planet, which means they donate at least 1% of their gross revenue to this charity that works to promote a healthier planet. Make sure to dig down to the bottom of your box – one box will contain The Golden Ticket and will earn the holder a free box for themselves or a friend!

One of my items was wrapped in bubbles to keep it from breaking.

Looking good!

Everything in my February 2020 California Found box!

La Luna Salt Kitchen Bitch All Purpose Seasoning ($10) I love to use seasonings to add flavor to my meals and it’s fun to change it up every once in a while.

This blend of garlic, fennel, black pepper, paprika, and salt can be used on just about any savory dish you cook – eggs, chicken, steak, seafood, veggies, etc.

It has a shaker top so you can give a shake or two, or remove the top and spoon it into recipes. It smells wonderful and was very tasty in my pasta salad. I’m going to put it on hamburgers tonight!

Indigo Candle Studio Sage & Lavender Coconut Wax Candle ($12) I really enjoy getting candles in subscription boxes and this candle had just enough scent for me to know it was there but without overpowering my senses.

It is handcrafted with coconut wax, a lead-free wick, and phthalate-free fragrance. The rustic lid and Mason jar holder look adorable on my coffee table.

I could tell this was made with coconut wax because there was a slight scent of toasted coconut while I burned this candle! The scent is closer to a fresh floral perfume than herbs. Burn time is around 25-35 hours and 12% of every purchase is donated to Save the Children.

Charming Little Lotus New Growth Tendril Ring In Sterling Silver ($45) The design of this ring is supposed to bring to mind new growth, both in nature and in ourselves.

The ring is made of solid sterling silver and is 1.2mm wide. It has an open design so it can stretch to fit most fingers.

Look at this adorable pair of lip products! You can purchase the items individually (see below) or as a set – find it here for $11.15. You can mix and match your preferred flavors too!

LB Love Organics Lip Scrub in Vanilla Mint ($6.50) I love mint, and vanilla mint is pretty awesome too! The only ingredients are sugar, coconut oil, beeswax, vanilla, and peppermint oil.

Rub it over lips and either rinse it away or lick it off. If you get some in your mouth it’s all good because the ingredients are edible!

LB Love Organics Lip Balm ($5.15) This balm is full of minty goodness and is made from edible ingredients, no petroleum products in sight.

It left my lips soft and silky and slightly tingly. I love this, it’s going in my purse right away!

Miss Bee Haven Beeswax Wraps ($15) A good way to help the planet is to reduce the use of plastic, and these reusable wraps can help me move towards that goal.

The wraps can be used on fruit, leftovers, or sandwiches and is reusable. They can be washed with gentle soap and water, and the coating on the cotton sheets is made of beeswax, pine resin, and jojoba oil.

I received a set of two wraps. The larger wrap is 13″ x 13″ and the smaller one is 8″ x 8″. They have a slightly tacky feeling and can be molded around containers or food items, although they should not be used with raw meat.

My February box from California Found was perfect for my needs and wants, and I liked everything in the box! I’ve used the spice blend a few times already and the candle is a nice touch on a cool evening. I love everything mint so the lip products were especially welcome and the ring and wraps are cool additions to my jewelry box and kitchen. The value for the February box was around $93.65! California Found is planning to ship their quarterly box this spring, so make sure to get on their email list if you want to grab a spot!
