DKNY Nectar Love ($36.23 for 3.4 ounces) The card describes this as a floral, fruity gourmand but Fragrantica calls it an oriental floral and I have to agree with the latter assessment. Scent notes include beeswax, yellow and white florals, and nectarines. I love the beeswax/honey note upon first spraying but sadly it doesn’t last. It quickly changes to a floral musk on my body before sticking with musk for the rest of the day. Those bright notes that would work so well for summer are fleeting and since it is winter I guess musk is more appropriate, but I just don’t care for that base note.
If you are into designer fragrances then I think Scent Box is a great way to get those Donna Karan’s and Calvin Klein’s. I always receive the scent of the month and have yet to receive what I would call a niche fragrance line. They do carry some niche lines and you can add them to your line up. The value for this particular scent is low, around $2.85, although a rollerball from the DK site is $30 for .34 ounces but a full ounce is currently $28 at Macy’s. In other words, the price is all over the place depending on where you look. Still, if you are wanting a holder that is easy to carry and enjoy receiving a color-coordinated case each month then this subscription might be for you!
