You can start by choosing what type of coffee you want – ground or whole bean. Plus let them know what roast level you prefer, how you plan on preparing your coffee, do you drink it black or with additions, how much coffee you make at home, etc. There were 10 questions in all!
Subscribers can choose from among Origins, Blend, Espresso, or one of the 8 specialty subscriptions available, as well as change the frequency and amount of coffee to be received in each shipment.

I received a card with tasting notes.
The back of the card discussed a flavor wheel and mentioned that the beans in this blend are from Colombia and Ethiopia.
Blue Bottle Coffee Fall Blend is no longer available, which sometimes happens with this subscription. I received my coffee just days after it was roasted.
The bag has a seal that you break when you open it, and a zipper closure so you can keep those great smells inside.
I handed this blend over to my resident coffee drinker – my daughter! She brewed it in a standard coffee maker after hand grinding the beans. She said the coffee was acidic and good for a jolt of caffeine. She said it was very bold and would use it as a cold brew or drip coffee. Overall she gave it a 6 out of 10.
Blue Bottle is a great way to receive freshly roasted coffee beans and I think it’s wonderful that they offer so many choices not only in coffee types but in options for how often you would like to receive the coffee. The quality is always amazing and I know my daughter loves the jolt of energy she gets from her morning cup.
