Gacha Gacha Crate is a new box from Japan Crate that follows the gachapon craze in Japan. Each box contains six hand-selected gachapon capsules that may contain useful accessories, your favorite characters, and a whole lot more.  Boxes start at $28, and shipping is free.

DEAL: Use coupon code HELLO to get $3 off your first box.

The interior of the box has cute doodles and the presentation is really kawaii.

It’s like a nest containing six gachapon capsules sitting comfortably in orange fillers.

Every box includes a monthly Gacha Gacha magazine!

This month’s featured article is about Rilakkuma!

The magazine also lists all the gachapons you’ll get this month, along with some tidbits about each of them.

The gachapon capsules came in a variety of colors. Its concept is similar to surprise eggs and blind bags.

Everything in my September 2019 box!

Rilakkuma Figure. Subscribers will get 1 of 4 figures featuring Rilakkuma and friends! Rilakkuma, a cute brown bear, has been incredibly popular in Japan since it was launched in 2003. His friends are Korilakkuma, Kiiroitori, and Chairoikoguma.

We got Kiiroitori, a yellow bird! Aside from using it as a display, you can also use it for keeping a small item since the figure can be cracked open just like a gachapon.

MTV Keychain. This MTV keychain just made me feel nostalgic. There are several MTV logo designs available and we got this colorful one with a design that made it look like it’s splattered on with paint.

It even comes with a ball chain so you can easily attach it on a bag or use as a keychain.

Pokemon Keychain. Subscribers will get 1 of 5 Pokemon keychains featuring characters from Mewtwo Strikes Back: Evolution.

We got what we’re hoping to get! It’s Mew, a psychic Pokemon! The figure is attached to a braided chain, and it can be used as a charm.

Sushi Mascot. Anyone else who loves sushi? This sushi keychain is such an adorable way to show off your love for the popular Japanese food!

There are different designs available, and I got the one featuring shrimps and other fish slices. They were even packed in a mini bento box! How adorable!

Dragon Ball Z Figure. To add to our Dragon Ball Z figures collection, here’s Super Saiyan Rose in fight mode!

The figure comes in two easy-to-assemble pieces and a base. His hair is shiny in pink, which is quite different from Goku’s usual Super Saiyan looks.

Red Lantern. Red lanterns are often found along the streets of Japan, especially those in front of traditional restaurants. We got a mini version from a gachapon, along with stickers.

Just put the stickers featuring Japanese characters and your mini lantern is already good for display.

It even lights up like the real thing!

Gacha Gacha Crate gives us a glimpse of both the Japanese pop culture and old Japanese traditions through cute items from gachapons! From anime stuff to food-inspired items, they have it all here. Our favorite this month is the lantern because it’s not just for hanging, it lights up as well and gives our room a different mood. ‘Til the next kawaii-filled box!
