Daruma Towel. What a great way to start the box, because Daruma is believed to bring good luck. This Daruma towel can be used in the kitchen, where it can be an eye-catching piece, or in the bathroom to pat your skin dry.
Boar Sponge. We’re ushering in the year of the pig with this cute sponge for the kitchen!
The boar has its legs up and seems to be running with glee.
This boar sponge can be used to scrub plates and cookware without causing damage. I like that the shape also has an easy grip.
Boar Plush. We got another boar item and this time it’s a plush toy! It’s so adorable and cuddly, so I am pretty sure that this boar is going to have a place in our home.
There are lines running over the boar’s head down its back. The seams are sewn tightly as well.
It’s hard not to fall in love with its cute, plushie face. Look at that cute pink snout!
Rilakkuma Can Bank. It’s a tin container which you can use as a coin bank! The design is fun and kawaii as it features a Rilakkuma bakery.
The coin bank has its own lock and key to keep its contents safe and secure.
It’s small but can definitely fit a lot of coins and even bills. Even Rilakkuma’s friends are present in the design!
You’ll see a small opening on the cover of the can where you can slip coins and bills. Since it’s small you can also put this inside a drawer, desk, or shelf.
Aside from money, this tin can is also perfect for storing other trinkets you want to keep safe.
Sumikko Gurashi Pen Tower. SumikkoGurashi has adorable characters that are fast becoming a favorite, and for this month, we got a pen tower featuring their likeness.
If you are the type of person whose desk tends to be cluttered because of the number of pens and whatnot, this pen container is perfect. Time to get organized!
The container is in light pink and on the side is the same print as the box. They Sumikko Gurashi characters are enjoying their time in the ice cream tub!
I love the pen tower because there is ample space to hold my collection of pens easily. And because the shelves are inclined, there is no danger of the pens spilling. This is a subscription box first for me!
DokiDoki Crate for January is offering us a fresh start! Everything is related to the new year and some can even be lucky charms. Our favorite is definitely the boar plush because it’s so cute and cuddly! We also like the inclusion of usable items for storage like the coin bank and the pen tower. This subscription never fails to bring some kawaii to our home and we really appreciate that! ‘Til next month!
