The November 2018 Scoutbox theme is Leave No Trace!

The back of the card lists all the items included in this month’s box along with a brief description.

By scouts, for scouts!

Everything in my box!

Bambu Bamboo Spork ($3.85) Having the right utensils on your outdoor trips makes the experience a whole lot better. I’m definitely bringing this spork on my next adventure, it’s not just convenient to use, it’s also made from bamboo so it’s reusable and eco-friendly.

Leave No Trace Authority Of The Resource “AR” Card – This card should be given to those who spend time in the outdoors but haven’t really been practicing the “leave no trace behind” goal. It contains a brief description of what Authority of the Resource is all about.

It also includes tips on how to handle these individuals when you are outdoors in a non-combative way. This is one handy card for all outdoor enthusiasts.

Green Guru Upcycled Zipper Pouch ($18) It’s an upcycled zipper pouch made from the inner tubes of a bike. It comes in handy when you want to keep your stuff dry while you are outdoors.

This is an interesting concept given that it makes use of the inner tubes of a bike tire. The insides contain a soft fabric liner to keep all of your personal belongings safe and sound. So rad!

Joshua Tree Skincare Camp Soap ($5.99) Of course, you can’t go on an outdoor trip without cleaning essentials. Fortunately, Scoutbox added one to this box and it’s plant-based AND biodegradable to leave no trace! This camp soap has an olive base that is similar to the ones you’ll find in Spain.

It even comes with essential oils that can keep bugs away.

Seattle Sports Firewater Plus ($22.66) It’s a collapsible water bottle and a LED lantern in one. I love multifunctional items!

It can carry up to 75 mL of liquid, while the light it provides is about 50 to 100 lumens.

There is a USB charger and a solar panel too for you to charge your devices and the lantern as well during the day.

I like that the solar panel is large enough to absorb plenty of daylight and to keep the lantern working for several hours.

The lantern has three settings, low, medium, and high. As you can see, it is quite bright!

It also comes with a waterproof container for items that you don’t want to get wet. And if you think it looks like an ordinary water bottle…

It has transformed into a lantern. This is probably one of the best items that I got from this subscription!

SCOUTbox is packed with a lot of amazing products for outdoor junkies. Starting with the bamboo spork and the zippered pouch, SCOUTbox remained true to its “Leave No Trace” theme. Even the castile soap is made from organic ingredients which doesn’t harm the environment. For me, however, the star of this box is the 3-in-1 bottle because it doesn’t only work as a water bottle, but it can also be transformed into a lantern and a waterproof container!
