Play! by Sephora recently released a limited edition box for $25! It’s called PLAY! Luxe ’18 Volume 2 and it promises six trial-size luxury products—a $110 value from brands like La Mer and Giorgio Armani —inside a special-edition beauty bag along with an exclusive PLAY! PASS with 50 bonus points along with a set of “collectible cards.”

The PLAY! LUXE by Sephora Luxe ’18 Volume 2 box is still available!

Look at this beauty!

It’s a Sephora pouch in elegant silver and it looks just like a fun puffy coat!

All the items in this month were arranged perfectly in this special bag! I like the chic dark violet lining.

I also like that they separated the wristlet and the zipper closure for easy handling. I think this is better than having the bulky box. What do you think?

We have these PLAYful Luxe cards pack especially made for this box.

Everything in the limited edition box!

All luxury, all the time…

Indulge yourself with the brands that make sumptuous skin, lavish lips, and silky strands an everyday occurence.

I got 50 bonus Beauty Insider points! A little oddly this box is available only online, but the points are in-store only.

Tatcha Water Cream ($6.80) The Tatcha brand has been featured twice in other Play! Sephora boxes. It is a testament that this is a well-loved collaborator and loved by fans as well.

This product also has the Clean Seal which means this cream doesn’t have ingredients that the consumers usually avoid, like sulfates, parabens, formaldehyde-releasing agents, phthalates, oxybenzone, mineral oil, and many more.

It is never too late to start a skincare routine and moisturize.

A little amount of this can go a long way. It’s an oil-free, lightweight, anti-aging water that releases a burst of nutrients and powerful botanicals to balance hydration for nourished skin. It is perfect even for sensitive skin.

It has 3 main ingredients. The Japanese wild rose for promoting circulation, the Japanese leopard lily that supports the natural turnover of skin and Tatcha’s Signature Hadasei-3 which restores for a healthier, younger looking skin. Use upward strokes while massaging this onto face, neck, and décolletage.

Hourglass Caution Mascara ($10.80) Smooth and buildable, this ultra-black mascara helps create coveted dramatic lashes easily. It doesn’t feel heavy on the eyes and can be used on the lower lashes without smudging. It is a vegan product which is also formulated without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates.

Starting at the base of the lashes, you can pull the mascara brush and wiggle your way from root to tip. It will ensure that the mascara is applied evenly to all the lashes. This formula can be easily removed by soap and water.

It diverts a lot of attention to your lashes at it volumizes, lengthens, and lifts them by a single stroke. If you want to add a little extra, you can put another coat and not worry about it clumping.

The tapered brush is perfectly designed for any length of lashes, even the smallest ones. You can apply the mascara evenly on the corners by placing it vertically and using the top part of the brush. I love Hourglass so I was pretty excited – and not disappointed with my results!

Tata Harper Rejuvenating Serum ($36.66) Date palm extract, buckbean extract, Spanish lavender extract, and rose hip seed oil were combined in this age-defying serum. It helps smooth fine lines and wrinkles, and also promotes firmness and elasticity to your skin. This product is vegan and free of synthetic chemicals and artificial properties. And it’s from cult fave Tata Harper!

A small amount of this serum goes a long way and it smells so good.

Massage this to the skin for best results twice a day. Store it in a cool dark place to maintain its potency and freshness.

Givenchy Rouge Interdit Vinyl Color Enhancing Lipstick in 16 Noir Revelateur (about $14.50) The lipstick comes in many shades but we got the N 16 Noir Revelateur which looks like a black pigmented lipstick but it works like a high-shine lip gloss.

Givenchy does not disappoint with the packaging! It looks and feels luxurious!

The black rose oil does its wonders by nourishing your lips and leaving it with a nice shine.

It works like magic as it will transform your lip color to an enhanced version ranging from sheer berry to deep plum.

It was sheer gray when applied. A few moments later it adjusted to my skin color and became the shade of plum. Later it turned more pink!

Christophe Robin Regenerating Mask with Rare Prickly Pear Seed Oil ($14.43) It’s an intensive care mask that repairs, nourishes, and makes your hair manageable. The formula includes rare prickly pear seed oil which protects and revives the pigments in color-treated or natural hair. It doesn’t have parabens, sulfates, and phthalates.

The regenerating mask promises to make our tresses silky smooth, stronger, and shinier.

It also has plant ceramides and inula flower extracts that penetrate in every strand for a deep and long-lasting result.

After shampooing, lather a small amount from root to tips. Gradually add water as you massage it and rinse thoroughly. This mask works to make even fine hair silky without weighing it down!

Tom Ford Black Orchid Touch Point Perfume ($22.50) I love the black orchid’s alluring smell! I also got the sample of this scent from the Play! by Sephora September box.

Because this is in the luxe box, they are giving us the luxurious version, of course. The perfume is placed in this gold packaging and not the usual card backing.

The relaxing unique floral scent even resonates with men.

I’m glad they featured this with a bigger bottle so I can enjoy it longer!

The silver pouch is unique and fun. Of course, it’s a joy trying out all these luxury skincare, makeup and hair care products. I hoped for a bigger tub of Tatcha moisturizer but I’m not complaining. I’m still thankful they included this again because of its lightweight consistency that makes my skin fresh and hydrated. I love the Tata Harper rejuvenating serum too. On top of its refreshing aroma, it makes my skin radiant and smooth. I appreciate the bigger bottle of Tom Ford’s Black Orchid and the mascara is a revelation. The innovative formula of Givenchy lipstick is the cherry on top as it shines and plumps the lips like magic. Overall the items including the pouch are worth more than a $100 as promised. I look forward to trying out more luxurious items from the luxe line, I think it’s a great deal for people looking for higher end goodies from their boxes!

The Christophe Robin hair mask is awesome! I got a sample of it with a recent Sephora order and was impressed. The Tata Harper serum is also great.
