Macy’s Beauty Box is a monthly subscription that delivers five deluxe beauty samples, one bonus item, and a collectible cosmetics bag for $15 per month. Beauty Box subscribers also get an exclusive $5 beauty coupon that can be used online and in-store.

There’s no extra packaging in the box.

The pouch is so cute with the translucent holo design and black zipper.

The transparent part has cute illustrations of eye cream, face spray, and lipstick that adds a colorful effect to the makeup bag.

The theme this month is BEAUTY SCHOOL RECESS!

Each month comes with a Macy Beauty Box booklet.

There is a $5 coupon at the back of the booklet. These coupons aren’t stackable from one month to the next. BUT there’s free shipping on all Macy’s Beauty orders. Check out these categories sorted from low to high price: Bath & Body, Natural BeautyMakeup, Skincare, and Travel-size.

Macy’s now has a $10 minimum and it’s not written anywhere on the card. This was disappointing especially as I had a $9.99 item I wanted to pick up!

The information booklet gives you a list of all the items included in the box.

Everything in the August 2018 Macy’s Beauty Box!

TonyMoly Master Lab Hydraulic Sheet Mask ($4) It is different from other masks because of ‘nude seal’ technology that fits the thin mask to the facial contours for efficient serum absorption. The key ingredient is hyaluronic acid, which locks in moisture, improves elasticity, and plumps fine lines and wrinkles.

Apply the mask for 20 to 30 minutes. After removing it, gently pat the face so that the concentrated serum can be fully absorbed by the face and neck. For added cooling and soothing effect, you can put the unopened pack in the fridge.

IT Cosmetics Confidence In An Eye Cream ($12.84) It’s a revolutionary eye treatment moisturizing cream that brightens, repairs, and transforms. It addresses all the signs of aging like undereye darkness, discoloration, lack of firmness, crepiness, and fine lines and wrinkles.

It has an Anti-Aging Armour, ceramides, chrysin, and caffeine to address the look of puffiness. It is also peptide infused and has collagen for fine lines and wrinkles. The avocado, hyaluronic acid, and squalene work in hydrating and locking moisture in while licorice root and apricot tint brighten the entire undereye area.

A small amount goes a long way, so even though this is just a sample size I can use this for multiple days. This product promises us to have eyes that are smoother, firmer and younger-looking.

Urban Decay All Nighter Make Up Setting Spray ($7.50) Cruelty-free and travel-sized, this setting spray is suitable for any skin type and aims to help makeup last all day without fading, melting, or settling into fine lines. The setting spray has patented temperature control technology that lowers the temperature of makeup to keep everything in place even in hot, humid or cold conditions. The sprayer also delivers calibrated microfine mist that makes the spray so light on the skin you won’t even feel it’s there.

Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Honey Mask ($6.80) It’s a gentle purifying mask that deeply detoxifies skin while hydrating it. Active ingredients include bamboo charcoal, golden wildflower, and fermented honey that works best for acne and oil control with nourishment. The formula can also draw out deep-dwelling pore cloggers, impurities, and grime. It is formulated without parabens, phthalates, propylene glycol, mineral oil, petrolatum, paraffin, DEA and polyethylene beads.

Start with opening up pores with a warm moist towel and layer on the thick mask. Let it stay for 5 to 10 minutes or until the mask is completely dry and then rinse well. Just use once a week or as needed and it will leave your skin perfectly pure and conditioned.

Juicy Couture Oui ($25) This one’s a fruity floral scent that instantly freshens you up. It has notes of watermelon and lemon with the chic sophistication of jasmine and wild tuberose that certainly make the scent more addicting.

It has 1.5ml product in a little sprayer bottle that can fit in any purse or makeup pouch. Juicy is juicy – not the most high end, but always fun, right?

Lancome L’Absolu Lip Lacquer In #378 Be Unique ($4.81) It’s a tinted moisturizing lip lacquer that has buildable shine and color.

The sample sized tube is as vibrant as the packaging. It is available in 30 shades.

We got a hot fuschia pink color that is perfect for summer parties and bold looks.

It has a smooth doe foot applicator wand that makes the lip lacquer easier to apply.

I love the bright pigment. It is not drying on the skin and not totally transfer proof but the color lasts all day.

Macy’s got us covered with a hip and trendy makeup bag, skin care loot and makeup. My fave is the eye cream because I think anti-aging creams are vital. I also love the setting spray because I won’t have to do touch-ups for my makeup. For busy women like me, the last thing they need is frequent touchups and saggy eye bags. I love all the products they sent us and there are no fillers. The box’ worth is approximately $60 and I got a good deal out of the $15 I paid. I hope they always keep up the good work on curating special products for us.
