BeautyFIX is a monthly subscription box from Dermstore that sends you the latest skin care, hair care, and makeup products for $24.95 a month (or $34.95 for a one-time purchase). They feature full and travel-sized products and promises that the box will contain at least $100 worth of items. Everyone receives the same products, although makeup colors or scents may differ, at least you will know what you’re getting if you decide to purchase the box after you see the contents.

TIP: You can subscribe to BeautyFIX and receive this exact box – it’s usually available all the way through the end of the month!

The box is filled with white squiggles.

This month’s theme is Ready, Set, Jet.

If you want to purchase the full-size items, you can visit Dermstore’s online shop and save up to 20% by using the provided code.

The product information card includes each item’s name with a short description. They switched it up, along with a new box design, to be all on one sheet.

Everything in the August box!

Klorane Smoothing And Relaxing Patches ($24) As the name suggests, these patches are designed to relax your tired eyes and help smoothen the under eye area. To make it extra soothing, you can put it in the refrigerator before use.

Inside the box are 7 packs of patches. They contain cornflower water that helps soften your skin, arnica extract that drains eye contour, and chamomile extract which has soothing properties. The under eye area is sensitive, but these patches weren’t irritating at all. Continued use also promises to eliminate fine lines.

dpHUE Apple Cider Vinegar Scalp Scrub ($3.16) Himalayan salt and apple cider vinegar were combined in this exfoliating scrub to help remove dead skin cells and rebalance pH levels. The formula also contains avocado oil and aloe vera that soothe and calm the scalp. It works well with fine hair and even with color-treated hair. The only downside is the vinegary smell if you don’t like it, but I love it!

HUM Nutrition Beauty ZZZZ ($2.33) One pack contains 7 dietary tablets that aim to make you fall asleep better. It has vitamin B6, melatonin, and calcium all of which are useful if you want to get a good night’s rest. This pack is good for a week, which means you only have to take one tablet a day. Beauty sleep, here I come! I have been saving this for when I need a reset.

Beauty Blender Blotterazzi ($6.70) Washable and reusable, this beauty blender is an alternative to blotting paper. The wider bottom of the Blotterazzi is for the t-zone, cheeks, or chin; the pointed bottom is for the temples and under the eyes.

Unlike blotting papers that may remove makeup, this sponge simply draws out the excess oil without ruining your look. It’s cleansable (and comes with the cleanser sample) and reusable, so it’s nice to have a non-disposable blotting paper alternative.

Erno Laszlo Sea Mud Deep Cleansing Bar ($6.71) This deep cleansing bar is designed to remove impurities that may be lingering inside your pores. It contains Dead Sea mud and charcoal, which also helps reduce pore size for a more polished and vibrant look.

To use, just lather the bar with warm water and apply over the face.

It’s gentle on the skin – the exfoliants are really micro – and it smells wonderful too! Other ingredients are glycerin, which keeps the skin hydrated, and palm and palm kernel oil that provides defense against environmental stressors.

Tarte Cosmetics Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint In Rose ($20) I got the matte liquid lipstick in Rose, a rose nude shade. It’s quick drying and transfer-proof.

The liquid lippie applies smoothly and provides full coverage. It dries pretty fast too. The best part is that it has a comfort flex formula that prevents my lips from drying or cracking and the doe-foot applicator really contours to your lips!

Sachajuan Dry Powder Shampoo ($20) Dry shampoo is heaven sent especially on busy days. This one is powder-based and comes in a spray bottle. It adds volume and structure to your hair even between washings, and also leaves it with a matte finish. The formula is sulfate-free, and ideal whether for straight, wavy, or curly hair. And it has no scent!

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Lip Therapy ($12) Packed with colloidal oatmeal and shea butter, this lip balm hydrates and soothes the lips then leaves it with a semi-matte finish. It can be worn on its own, or under a lipstick. It has a light mint scent and FAB, as always!

Marvis Whitening Mint Toothpaste ($2.88) A whitening toothpaste with mint flavor, keeping your teeth clean and your breath fresh throughout the day. The consistency is quite rich and creamy. It’s also fluoride-free, paraben-free, and vegan. My husband’s favorite – I never get a chance!

Skin Medica TNS Eye Repair ($14.28) Various under eye concerns are addressed by this eye repair formula, including fine lines, wrinkles, and dark circles. It can be applied in the morning and evening, after your moisturizer or other skin treatments. It contains peptides, as well as vitamins A, C, and E which all help support the skin around the eyes. This cream is rich, but there’s not too much in the tube – I always want more!

This month’s BeautyFIX has a nice variety of skin care and hair care, as well as a makeup product and even a beauty supplement. The curation is cohesive as it included items with similar and complementing purposes, like those targeting under eye problems, the scalp scrub and the dry shampoo tandem, and the lip balm and liquid lipstick combo. I’m pretty happy with the contents, as well as the overall retail value which is $111!
