There are many bag variations every month for Ipsy – login to your account to check out how-to videos and tips for your products. They’ve also started emailing out product information and tips from their influencers!
City Color Cosmetics City Chic Eyeshadow in Skinny Latte ($6.99) It easily blends and that can be great for beginner and professional makeup artists alike. It has a beautiful metallic shimmer finish that is smooth and easy to apply.
The shade name is Skinny Latte. It is perfect for all occasions because of its versatile light shimmer color. It can be combined with other colors for added drama or can be used alone for an everyday simple look.
It is composed of a luxurious cream powder blend and doesn’t feel heavy on the lids. This isn’t a pigmented shade, but it’s a nice oyster colored base. I’m not particularly a fan of this brand but this is the nicest I’ve received from them so far.
It is tinted with a deep brown color and an orange undertone. It is not transfer-proof as most of the glosses are and it can stay on your lips for at most 5 hours without eating or drinking. Oh, and it’s a bonus that it smells so delicious!
Smashbox Cosmetics Studio Skin Concealer in Light/Medium ($21.25) It is a 24-hour wear concealer that can camouflage our insecurities away. It has light-diffusing spheres that don’t crease, or cake or settle into the skin. It has a medium to full buildable coverage, so bye bye dark circles!
This might be the concealer you’ve always wanted! It has a doe-foot applicator to make it easier to apply. The packaging also made it easier for us to distinguish if it’s our shade or not. It has a creamy, hydrating formula that easily absorbed by the skin, making it transfer resistant, humidity and sweat resistant.
These are the swatches of the liquid matte lipstick, Smashbox concealer, and the Skinny Latte shimmer eyeshadow respectively. The Smashbox concealer is so yellow but it works well under other makeup to conceal bluish circles – like banana powder!
First Aid Beauty Pure Skin Face Cleanser ($4) It is a fragrance-free effective makeup, and dirt remover but gentle enough that leaves skin soft and supple. Its consistency is like when a cream is blended with water. It is infused with a powerful Botanical Antioxidant blend that safeguards the skin against environmental factors and free radicals while the allantoin in the cleanser soothes the irritated skin. It never leaves the skin feeling tight or dry thus, maintains skin’s natural acidity and helps reduce flare-ups. Love both this brand and product!
Ahava Facial Mud Exfoliator ($4.95) It is a gentle face exfoliator that renews skin to improve skin’s ability to absorb. Using dead sea mud, it clarifies, evens complexion and renews skin to reveal a smoother, softer and more radiant healthy-looking skin. Just apply a dime-sized amount to palms and work into a lather. Massage over face and rinse off with warm water. Ditto with the First Aid Beauty product – both the product and the brand are perfect.
This bag included an exfoliator, a cleanser, a concealer, a lip gloss and a versatile eyeshadow which can create version 2.0 of our everyday look. I love the under-the-sea inspired bag that has front zipper closure as it is unique and spacious. The total value was about $53 – a great deal for just $10!
