The Geeky Stitching Club is a monthly subscription box that provides cute cross stitching items. Each box includes 1 full cross stitch kit, 2 extra patterns, 1 mini supplies kit plus some sweet treats. It all comes gift wrapped in one of the specially printed boxes, sprinkled with confetti and with a personalized name sticker. You can include an extra FULL kit and pom pom trim by adding just £5 (about $7) a month, just select the XXL box version.

Box costs start from £10.99 (around $16) each month, and ships internationally.

It is curated especially for me!

Upon opening the box, we were greeted by a cute card and a sweet treat!

At the back of the card is a thank you note. They are also encouraging subscribers to share their cute stitches on social media by using #geekystitchingclub.

Club members are given a 15% off coupon code for all purchases on The Geeky Stitching website.

Everything in my box!

Lollipop. Such a sweet welcoming treat from the box!

Pretty in pink!

Each pack is secured with a cute Geeky Stitching Club sticker.

They provided complete supplies for a dinosaur stitching pattern. “You make my heart saur” is so cute!

Embroidery Pattern. The card informs you everything about the pattern and how you are going to make it. It states what strand to use, how many, and its length.

Embroidery Hoop. Every kit comes with a 4″ embroidery hoop. It holds the fabric well, so it’s stretched and your final output will look tight instead of saggy. It can also be used as a frame – hotglue the pom pom trim around the edges!

Cross Stitch Fabric. Of course, they also provide the fabric where you will stitch the pattern. It comes with natural mesh to easily facilitate the stitching style. Instead of the usual white fabric, we got it in orange!

DMC Strands. Every kit always comes with the necessary DMC threads. For this pattern, we have two shades of violet, pink, yellow, white, and black. So far I like the color scheme.

This is the strand sorter! Each hole is numbered so you can easily find the references in the pattern.

Pom Pom Trim. This pom pom lace can be used as a trim for your final cross-stitch output. I got mine in hot pink!

The second cross stitch kit was wrapped in light pink paper.

It’s all about dinosaurs too! The dinosaurs are smaller in this pattern, and there are trees, hearts, and a volcano too.

The pattern says “you are totally roarsome.” I’m loving the puns!

This time, the hoop is an inch larger than the first one. It comes in 5″.

The sort holes are carefully spaced so that the strands will not tangle with each other.

For this pattern, we got 8 types of threads.

This is the DMC strand in full and the cross stitch needle. If you’ve never stitched before, FYI the needle is different because it has a bigger hole and is more blunt than regular needles.

There’s an extra donut cross stitch pattern for a 6″ hoop. So cute!

The pattern on the card is easy to follow and understandable from the get-go.

There’s a sheet that contains stitching tips if you’re a newbie!

There are also explanations of some stitching styles and techniques.

I love The Geeky Stitching Club’s effort of keeping the craft alive and making it hip and timely (which is no surprise, cross stitching is WAY bigger in the UK than it is in the US). It’s a good deal for $15.39 a month, as it includes complete supplies plus an extra pattern. This month’s featured patterns are all cute and punny! Also, this subscription is not just for cross stitching pros. The patterns and the instructions they provide are newbie-friendly too! I can’t wait to stitch these up for my kiddos! This box would also make an excellent subscription for a teen or tween interested in cross stitch!
