So Susan Color Curate is a monthly makeup subscription bag from the UK that delivers an adorable bag stuffed with goodies from So Susan and their related makeup lines (Jelly Pong Pong, Trifle, etc). They also have the cutest packaging! FYI – they changed the name of the subscription month, it was formerly known as So Susan Lip Love.
So Susan is vegan, cruelty-free, and paraben-free as well. Even better, you can always get the current box through the end of the month!
The theme this month is Bloom Where You Are Planted.
The information card gives you a list of all the items in this curation.

Everything in my So Susan Color Curate April 2018 Bag!
Eco-Chic Makeup Bag April 2018 ($12) I like the spring design of the makeup bag and most especially the inspirational quote that it has.
The design is extended at the back. The cosmetics in this month’s box also fits perfectly in this makeup bag.
Trifle Cosmetics Bon Bon Bling ($15) Trifle Cosmetics has a lot of bright colored pigment shades based on our dessert fantasies and Kiwi Smoothie, a shimmery green, is one of them. It’s vegan, hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, paraben-free, gluten-free, and phthalate-free.
The formula is pigmented and can be applied either by fingers or brush to your eyelids, body, or hair. It gives an instant shimmery effect, wherever you decide to put it.
So Susan Lip Dew ($19) So Susan used the Berry Burst shade for this curation. There are other two colors in the Lip Dew line.
It feels moisturizing and creamy on the lips. It has a washed off buildable color but tends to be streaky and patchy when applied at first. The salve’s main ingredient is pure shea butter that helps provide lip protection from the pollutants and helps restore its elasticity.
Jelly Pong Pong Liptensity Hydrating Lip Gloss In Curiosity ($19.95) This lip gloss is infused with sweet almond oil that makes the color last and keeps your lips hydrated all day long. Subscribers were sent Curiosity which is a berry pink shade.
It has a nice bright color and thick consistency but not sticky. The pigment is buildable but once you apply it multiple times it can make your lips look oily as opposed to a glossy kind of shine.
So Susan Cashmere Matte ($21) The pigment of this matte lipstick is off the charts! It is long lasting and has occasional transfers but doesn’t smudge.
This is in Cardinal, a vivid red shade.
These are the swatches! The colors are so vibrant and perfect for a strong spring vibe!
This month’s So Susan theme is nice because it’s fit for spring, which is finally here! I think the idea with this bag was to match the green with each of the 3 red/pink lip shades, although the lip shades don’t complement each other you wouldn’t wear them like that anyways. A fun bag and a fun dip into lips!
