MasqueBar Silver Foil Peel-off Mask. This moisturizing mask is enriched with natural ingredients that help to brighten and soften your skin. I have been liking masks more and more now that I have been getting the good ones from Cocotique. I’m just a little sad that I didn’t get a few more, but I will be ordering them for a little stay at home spa day.
Roux ‘Tween Time Instant Root Concealer. Instantly touches up roots between hair color applications and blends away the gray. Instant color applies like lipstick with ease and precision. Luckily for me I don’t have any root color issues (knock on wood) but I am so very glad this came in black with it my color… one can never be too prepared.
Kiss Color Edge Fixer Gel – Dry & Itchy Scalp. Infused with argan oil for added hair benefits and shine. This is a great finishing touch to a classic ponytail or French braid. It’s also marvelous for dry summer scalp from spending too much time in the pool. The best part of this is that a little bit goes a very long way.
Kiss Color Edge Fixer Gel in Dark Brown. Like the previous Kiss Color this also infused with argan oil. This one also contains hydrolyzed keratin to strengthen hair. I haven’t actually tried it just because it’s dark brown and I don’t want to risk it not blending into my natural color. It’s going to be a weekend treatment, at least the first time.
Rich Hair Care Intense Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner. A wonderful daily combination for moisture and shine. Hair is gently cleansed while Pro-Vitamin B5 strengthens dry, damaged areas. I was very happy to get this combination again it works wonders and smells pretty good as well.
Dermis 8 Exfoliating Carrot Soap. This soap is amazing at clearing away dead skin and helping even skin tone. I also like that it smells clean and I didn’t feel like I had soap scum clinging to my body. The nicest thing about this bar soap is I can use it from my face to my toes. I’ve already placed a bar at the sink and the shower, I will have soft skin all year round.
Eden Bodyworks Coconut Shea Cleansing Cowash. Sulfate-free, no suds gentle cleansing conditioner cream for removing residue and build up between washes. It wasn’t until recently that I started skipping washes and now that I have a great smelling cowash I am hooked. I will admit that the no suds part does take a little bit of getting used to but once you get used to it you will never go back.
Eden Bodyworks Jojoba Monoi Moisturizing Shampoo. A shampoo made from pure botanical ingredients to naturally cleanse and nourish hair. Formulated to remove dirt and oil build up for the squeaky clean feeling. I love this especially after a night out when my hair is exposed to a lot more pollutants. It really does help add a little extra bounce to my hair.
Eden Bodyworks Coconut Shea Creamy Conditioner. This is packed with moisturizing agents like coconut oil and shea butter. It smells great and helps protect my hair against breaking… I think I’m in love with my own hair once again.
Cocotique is a great fun way to learn more about products that are designed with women of color in mind. This month brought some amazing products to my door, plus a few old favorites and a bunch of new favorites. I love getting this box because my hair has never looked or felt so good. My favorite part of this subscription is it’s all for me and I am not expected to share it with anyone in my family, perks of having the best hair in the house. I can’t wait to see what next month brings me.
