Each month features a different organic, non-toxic, natural skin care line. This box is $39.95 a month and promises a value of $90 – and sometimes over $140!

First peek!

I received 2 full-sized products from C.Lavie Paris!

C.LAVIE products respect all kinds of skin, even the most sensitive! While some organic products might give you rashes, due to their high concentration of natural ingredients (yes, plants are effective!), C.LAVIE products will not cause any side effects. The latter have been created with the objective of 100% dermo-respect and 100% effectiveness.

The back of the introductory card listed each product, its retail value, and how to use each item. I like that Pearlesque also includes their own #pearltip for the products.

Everything in my March Pearlesque Box! Both of these products are from the Essential line and are “99.59” percent natural.

These boxes are so cute, but I was in for an even bigger surprise when I opened them!

The bottles are glass, which is preferable so the essential oils won’t leach plastic into your skin care.

C.Lavie Paris Essential Eye Gel .11 (€58.33 about $71.94) I am always up for trying a new eye cream. I want to send those bags packing!

The inside of the box had a lovely bright insert.

The insert opened up and I found directions inside.

I pushed lightly on the pump and found the product to be a gel. I applied it all around my eyes and it absorbed quickly without feeling greasy. Hyaluronic acid draws water to this delicate area to help plump up lines. The base is rose-water and immortelle water but I didn’t notice any scent at all. Caffeine from coffee is supposed to get rid of dark circles. I think I would prefer to use this product in the morning so that my eyeliner won’t smudge; I like a little more grease before bed.

C.Lavie Paris Essential Day Creme .19 ($85) C.Lavie offers only a handful of products and this day cream helps protect against all the environmental assaults our skin encounters on a daily basis.

Again, directions for how to best put this product to use were on the insert.

Rose water is the first ingredient, just like the eye cream, but there was a bit of a scent to this product, maybe a touch of vanilla. Hyaluronic acid is back along with jojoba oil, Desert Date oil, and olive oil. My skin absorbed this product immediately and it didn’t feel greasy. Since I have dry skin I would probably pair this with an oily serum, and wear something stronger at night. Make sure to wear your sunscreen since this day cream doesn’t have SPF.

I love to see my beautiful blue Pearlesque Box in the mail – I know I’m in for a luxurious skin care treat when it shows up! The products are almost always full-sized so I can tell if I like a particular brand before investing in what is sometimes a very pricey product. Speaking of pricey, my box value this month was around $157!!! That’s some expensive stuff but then again, skin care can be costly. I love that I can try those ritzy items at a steep discount!

Sneak Peek: April’s box will feature products from Toronto-based Graydon Skincare!
