BeautyFIX is a monthly subscription box from Dermstore that sends you the latest skin care, hair care, and makeup products for $24.95 a month (or $34.95 for a one-time purchase). They feature full and travel-sized products and promise the box will contain at least $100 worth of items. Everyone receives the same products, although makeup colors or scents may differ, but at least you will know what you’re getting if you decide to purchase the box after you see the contents.

TIP: You can subscribe to BeautyFIX and receive this exact box – it’s usually available all the way through the end of the month!

The theme this month is Red Carpet Ready.

The product information card includes item name and a short description.

Everything in the February box!

Lancer Skincare Lift & Plump Sheet Mask ($30) This single use sheet mask is packed with stem cell compounds which are intended to hydrate, tighten, and lift the skin on the face. It is soaked in lots of essence, and smells good too. It’s expensive (really expensive – they suggest it for post-procedure use “or even as a daily indulgence”) so I don’t think I’d ever go out and purchase it, but Lancer is a fantastic luxury brand and I felt like I got a great plumping and smoothing effect from this mask – and hopefully lasting effects from the apple stem cells it uses!

Still laughing about using a $30 sheet mask on the daily! Yeah let me just go drop 11 grand on my sheet mask habit for the year!

Traditions By Nick Chavez Horsetail Root Lifting Spray ($15) One of the things I love about this subscription is that there are so many things for maturing women and fine hair types, like this lifting spray. This will put volume from the roots to the tips. It also adds shine and prevents frizz without the stiff or sticky feeling.

Replenix 3x Retinol Forte Treatment Serum ($25.90) This face serum reduces different signs of skin aging and prevents damage from free radical elements. It has ingredients like antioxidants, caffeine, and green tea that are effective in improving the skin. I like that it applies smoothly on the skin and gets absorbed easily, so it works well under makeup too.

La Roche-Posay Lipkar Daily Repair Moisturizing Lotion ($0.67) Great for daily use, this body lotion contains prebiotic thermal water that helps moisturize and replenish the skin. It’s lightweight and is easily absorbed by the skin so it won’t feel sticky or greasy throughout the day. The samples from this brand are never that big, but I find them effective so I’m always pumped to get them!

Elon Lanolin Rich Nail Conditioner ($13.49) This formula is useful in improving the nails’ overall condition by moisturizing the nail, nail bed, and cuticle. It prevents the nails from chipping or cracking plus it helps boost nail growth. For really terrible nails they suggest starting with 4x a day application and then moving to once per day for maintenance after your nails improve in 2-3 weeks. The Amazon reviews all say it’s a miracle, so I hope they are reviewing after a few weeks use. I have strong nails but I like taking care of them, so I will be using this at the maintenance dose! It does have a plasticy smell due to the lanolin and is a very thick formula.

Manna Kadar GLO Illuminator ($29) You can use this liquid highlighter on its own or with your favorite make up products for a beautiful glow. It doesn’t feel greasy on the skin, and stays all day long too. This small bottle will last forever because you only need a small amount for every application and you probably have at least 2 bottles already if you subscribe to any other beauty subscriptions whatsoever.

REN Skincare Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic ($7) Ideal for all skin types, this vegan tonic exfoliates and brightens the skin without drying it out. It also works well in making the skin feel smoother as well as eliminating uneven skin tone and visible pores because of the AHA. I love a toner and especially one with AHA so I was excited about this!

BeautyFix has been consistent in sending a collection of high-quality make-up and skin care items every month. I like that they include full size items in the box which by themselves sometimes have a value higher than the cost of the monthly subscription by itself as well as truly unique beauty and skincare samples. The total value of the February box is about $121 – $92 if you care not to count the Manna Kadar. Either way it’s an amazing value with some luxury products to test out this month!
