MINTD Box is a monthly luxury beauty subscription from the UK. Each month, you’ll get 4-5 full and deluxe sized beauty products from the most respected brands. You can also choose to get the box every other month. This box is priced at £70.

Everything arrived arrived safely, nestled together in the same packaging you would see at a high-end cosmetics retailer.

The packaging is so elegant. This month’s box was the same style as previous months, but more compact.

The theme this month is Recharge.

Here’s a short note from your MINTD Box Team!

MINTD Box comes with a small booklet with details about everything in the box. The booklet includes a lengthy description of each item, including tips on use, the retail price (in Pounds), and a link for further info.

Every item gets an entire page! It is quite educational, pointing out the mechanism by which each product helps protect and repair your skin.

You get a sense that the curators have put together a regimen as much as they have a collection.

Everything in my box!

Scentered Escape Therapy Balm ($19.95) This therapeutic balm is formulated to pamper your senses and help you relax. You can apply it to pulse points for best results. It is also ideal as an aid to meditation and yoga.

The scent is quiet exotic: a rich, woody base of oud, sandalwood, and cedarwood with warming frankincense, amber and vanilla, added with sweet, spicy patchouli, gently lifted by the exotic rose floral heart, and spicy smoky top notes of birch, clove and cinnamon.

Sunday Riley C.E.O. C + E Micro-Dissolve Cleansing Oil ($38) Next is a cleansing oil that easily dissolves pore-clogging dirt, excess oil, and micro-pollution particles. It helps the skin look fresh, bright, and calm. Two to three pumps is enough to remove make-up, and it works well whether you use it on dry or wet skin. The formula is also gentle enough for eye makeup removal. I’m the first to sing the praises of oil based cleansers – they really get the job done! But this one goes a step further and helps gently smooth out skin with AHAs, too!

Rodial Dragons Blood Hyaluronic Mask ($46.40) The name is quite intriguing! Have you heard of Dragon’s Blood before? It’s a potent ingredient sourced from the Croton Lechleri tree and it has soothing and anti-inflammatory effects.

The formula also contains hyaluronic acid, which has a plumping effect which fills in deep wrinkles, creases, and fine lines, all while retaining skin moisture. You only need to apply a thin layer on the skin, so this tube will last for quite a long time. It can also be used as a leave-on mask if you need deep moisturizing.

Quinteassential Cleanse Tea  ($10) Moroccans are fond of tea cleansing and this is a nod to their ways. Not really a fan of tea so I have to get my husband try this one!

It has spicy notes of cardamom and ginger, which helps soothe the body. You can take this tea after exercise, a meal, or even with chocolate snacks.

FYI – you’ll see more teas and supplements in UK subscription boxes than US ones. It’s only occasional so I don’t mind – especially for this subscription that’s so high value anyways.

Anne Semonin Express Radiance Ice Cubes. Made to revitalize tired skin, this ice cold-treatment with botanical extract of wild indigo and radiance-boosting ritual is great for all skin types. It’s the perfect product to perk up skin ahead of make-up application.

Looks like little jellies to me! You can store these in your freezer for a minimum of 3 hours. Before use, remove the ice cube from the mold, then wrap it in the gauze provided. It can be applied on the face, neck, or decollete. I think this product is dead odd for January but I’m looking forward to trying it in July!

This month, MINTD focused on relaxing and soothing skin care items and they didn’t disappoint! After the holidays and more busy weeks that followed, I could definitely use new skincare items to recharge. My favorite items are the cleansing oil and the ice cubes (or at least the idea!), but the rest are just as awesome and useful. If you’re looking to try luxury beauty items from the UK, this is a good place to start. There’s always something completely new to look forward in every box!
