The GlobeIn Artisan Box Club is a subscription that sends handcrafted products from around the world. All items are produced either by collectives that are fair trade certified or that respect and adhere to fair trade principles. All artisans and farmers whose products are distributed by GlobeIn are paid a fair wage for their products.
GlobeIn has revamped their product line and now offers all subscriptions under the Artisan Box Club! The previous subscriptions are now under 4 Artisan Club Box levels: Premium, Deluxe, Essential and Starter. Premium and Deluxe boxes are $33 and $25 per month, respectively, while Essential and Starter boxes are both $10 per month each.
The former “Artisan Box” ($33) is now the Premium level, and the former “GlobeIn Club” ($10) is now the Essential level.

The theme for this box is PLAY. Artisan Box subscribers have a selection of themes from which to choose. This way, artisans will be able to meet GlobeIn’s needs while also having longer, steady work as they continue to produce items for the Artisan Box.
Along with all of the lovely items in the box, the Artisan Box includes a booklet that gives details about each of the artists responsible for the items in the box.

Rosewood Dice With Pouch – Set Of 4 – India. Ornate wooden dice with classy brass numerical markings!
It’ll be a great alternative to humdrum plastic dice when playing games or even just for practicing math with kids.
Mini Palm Leaf Basket – Mexico. It’s not the first time we’ve received a leaf basket from GlobeIn, but this one stands out because it looks very Christmas-y. It’ll be great to use for holding little treats and trinkets for the holidays!
Wooden Mini Puzzle – India. Puzzles are great toys, not just for kids but for adults as well! This mini-puzzle from India was made with rosewood and sustainable mango wood.
GlobeIn suggests to make it a coffee table piece and we agree! It could also be a nice addition to any work desk, as puzzles help in stimulating the mind.
It includes a card that shows what the puzzle looks like when it’s done.
Wooden Spinning Top – India. Another wooden toy that dates back from the ancient times.
It’s great having uncomplicated toys like this. You just have to see how long you can spin it and feel like a kid again!
It would also make a nice display for any desktop!
Unlined Notebook / Sketchbook – Assorted – India. Play could also mean letting your imagination run wild and this notebook is perfect for that purpose.
Whether you’re into writing or drawing, this unlined notebook made using 100% cotton allows you to express yourself in free-form.
The cover looks pretty awesome too!
Gift Tags – Assorted – India. These colorful tags will make any gift extra cuter!
We received them in different patterns. The back of these tags are blank so you can also write a short message.
What a lovely box! I like this month’s PLAY theme, the whole curation represented the thought well. It had a cool and youthful vibe, but still remained classy and artistic. I also like that they included actual toys, while the notebook and the gift tags made great additions too as they encourage a different kind of play. This subscription is always a delight to unbox, can’t wait for the next ones!
