Loot Crate DX is a deluxe monthly subscription box from Loot Crate. It’s themed with the regular Loot Crate theme, except it contains premium next level loot for discerning geeks! It’s like a special edition box from Loot Crate – every month!

A quote in the bottom of the box!

The box comes with a tri-fold booklet.

The theme this month – UNITE 2.0!

The information card gives you a list of all the items in the box. It’s super sturdy and has a nice premium feel.

All the Loot Crate DX goodies this month!

And there are discount coupons…

And a cookie recipe from Foodstirs to make Mr. Pointy cookies!

Loot Crate DX October 2017 Unite Lightning Pin. Every month, a cool enamel pin is included in the box!

This two pins set is designed by Gabriel Silveira! You can keep one to yourself and share the other to a person who is important to you. Keeping them apart might also prevent that whole SS logo look too.

Justice League Trinity War Triptych Print. This DC licensed Doug Mahnke’s incredible three-print art is first seen on the covers of Justice League of America #7, Justice League Dark #23 and Justice League #23.

The triptych was bagged & boarded but the corners are already bent up it’s not on particularly heavy card stock AND it has a loot crate logo on it. Kind of something I’d expect to see in the core crate.

CatDog Scarf. This scarf will definitely give anyone some NickToons nostalgia as it features one of the most bizarre physically-combined characters, CatDog!

This feline/canine duo permanently united at the abdomen will definitely keep you warm during the cold days! It’s so cute!

Justice League Long Sleeve Tee Bioworld designed this action-packed long sleeve tee!

It features the six main heroes from the movie which was just recently released: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, the Flash and Cyborg.

I love the color of this shirt, it gives an acid-washed look and it’s really classy! (The first time these terms have ever been combined!)

The long sleeve also features the character’s symbols and icons, brilliant!

Buffy & Friends Artist Series Figure. In celebration of Buffy’s 20th year, a figurine is included in this crate!

It is based on JO3BOT’s amazing “High Fidelity” illustrations.

There’s info found on the box regarding the figure and the artist – this figure is from Joey Spiotto’s High Fidelity line (IMO it should stay 2d!).

And the figure features Buffy, Willow and Spike!

At the back features an epitaph with a zombie hand sticking out.

However, I am not a fan of the figurine style. It’s grown on me a little sitting at my desk but it would have been MUCH better looking without the tongues sticking out.

It’s a weird style that doesn’t mesh with the Buffy aesthetic. Also, the base is hollow/open on the bottom, it’s kind of low-end. I’m not a fan of the artist series that has been all over the crates (the regular Loot Crate figurines are a yes for me).

We like the DC-related stuff that comes in this month’s box, however the figurine doesn’t really impress. And I wished that instead of the art print, they just included a full book. The box is okay, there are cool and solid items, and there are items that I wished they just swapped with other stuff. I don’t think the $50 box has solid enough items that can make up to the price – I think this is the third month in a row that I’m feeling like this is more like a $40 box!
