NOSEJOY is a new monthly subscription box that sends items for your olfactory pleasure! Make your nose happy with lovely smelling soaps, candles, lotions, and more for $34.95, which includes shipping. Each box will be curated to the season and will include upscale and boutique brands.
Enjoy 4 to 5 scented products delivered to you each month. Generally every month will include a candle and a soap, plus other items for home and body. Product sizes are full size or travel size.
The presentation was very nice, with a sticker on the outside and patterned tissue paper inside.

The items were tucked into brown paper squiggles and I couldn’t wait to do a nosedive into this box!
September’s theme was Earthy Autumn, and the product info sheet stated that the items would provide “woody smoke and an herb filled soak.” I love woody smokey scents so I was thrilled that this was the direction my first box was taking!
I received a paper with each item listed, some info about the items, the retail price, and where to find more.

Latika Body Essentials Natural Crème in Olive Grove ($11.99) is Austin based, just like me, and I love to discover local brands! It has a scent inspired by a visit to Tuscany and absorbed quickly without leaving me greasy. The smell was warm and a touch powdery and is perfect for early fall. (NOTE: This brand says their lotion is natural but it has two ingredients that are banned from Whole Foods body care products. I’m not saying that’s bad, just an FYI.)
I haven’t had a chance to try Latika Rosemary Mint Bath Bomb ($6.50) but it sure is ginormous!
Shea butter, avocado oil, and other natural oils help keep skin soft while peppermint & rosemary oils and phthalate free fragrance oil provide the scent, which reminds me of an after dinner mint!
Rosy Rings Travel Tin Candle in Oak Moss & Myrrh ($11) “Soft & earthy oak moss and resinous myrrh are enveloped in a smoky-rich cloud of Japanese incense and cedarwood embers.”
This candle is so pretty to look at, the tin is lovely. I opened it to find a package of matches, how handy is that? Oh, but the scent – this is one of the best candles I have ever used! Some candles smell good cold but not hot, but this one smells great either way. Warm, woodsy, sweet, perfect!
Luna Sundara Palo Santo Smudging Sticks ($10) I am familiar with smudging sticks thanks to another subscription box and I know Palo Santo is said to clear negative energies.
There was some info on how to do the cleansing ritual on the back of the package. There were four sticks in the box, which is plenty for several uses. It leaves behind a sweet and smokey scent in the house.
I was impressed with my first NOSEJOY box! I love fall and fall scents so this was a wonderful introduction to this subscription. I found the products to have a value of around $40 which is a bit above the subscription price but it would have cost more to order these products individually. Plus, this box is about curation, about discovering items that please at least one of our five senses (and sometimes more) and learning about new, undiscovered (by me, at least) brands.
