Everything in the October 2017 Birchbox Behind the Scenes Curated Box!

Matrix Biolage R.A.W. Uplift Shampoo ($3.86)

Matrix Biolage R.A.W. Uplift Conditioner ($3.86)

I’m not always a fan of getting shampoo & conditioner in a box, but I went with the curated box for volume! Both of these products have mostly natural origin for all their ingredients – and the skip the silicones, sulfates (on the shampoo) and parabens. The Shampoo is a clarifying grapefruit and black sesame, and the condition is kiwi and kaolin clay. I was skeptical, but it worked for my fine, flat hair!

Comfort Zone Hydramemory Cream Gel ($7.60) This has a soothing scent that matches the blue exterior. It’s a cream gel, so it’s light on the skin, but packed with macro hyaluronic acid plus moringa oil and natural fruit and flower extracts to heavily moisturize without oiling up your face. It left a matte finish on my skin – this one’s great for oily and combo complexions.

Stila Cosmetics Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner ($11)

You can achieve max control of your eyeliner with this felt-tipped liner pen! It’s superblack and glides effortlessly. Best thing is that it’s waterproof! Also, I’m super partial to these travel sizes – they don’t dry out prematurely and I find them easier to manage than the full-size.

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate ($6.44)

Kiehl’s is always such a treat, isn’t it?!

This elixir concentrate uses lipids like squalane and evening primrose oil plus lavender essential oil to work over night to hydrate and repair. It smells great and I did feel like my skin looked less dull in the morning.

With nearly $33 in value this is a great deal for a $10 beauty box – especially since all the items were so focused on those behind the scenes basics that anchor a great beauty routine! This is my favorite curated box of the last coupole months – it’s just so solid and everything was fantastic.

What did you think of the October Curated Birchbox? What would you like to try most?
