There’s a note about Germany, a splash about the culture, a playlist to help magnify the tasting experience and top phrases. This is just the tip of the enclosed pamphlet.

The reverse has detailed travel information, details on the five included snacks and information about the referral program. I don’t think there is a detail TopMunch has left out and that makes for a wonderful experience.

Bahlsen Leibniz Butter Biscuits. In 1904, Bahlsen pioneered the first moisture resistant packaging for biscuits, a breakthrough that ensured every biscuit would remain as crisp as the moment it left the oven. There wasn’t much to these biscuits but they were delicious, buttery and crisp. In fact, the entire sleeve was eaten before I knew it, who knew my family would enjoy these so much.

Bahlsen Choco-Leibniz (Dark Chocolate). These chocolate covered biscuits made me super sad that I live in the desert, they melted. Even with the melted chocolate these were amazing, sweet and buttery and absolutely perfect. The rest of the package is in the refrigerator waiting for a cold glass of milk and my fingers to polish off the snack. This is a dark chocolate lover’s dream.

Ferrero German Kinder Bueno. Smooth melting milk-hazelnut cream in an airy, crispy waffle, surrounded by the finest milk chocolate. This was the perfect mixture hat had me feeling very selfish, so good I didn’t want to share. I could see eating these instead of a Hersey’s chocolate bar. I almost didn’t send this around the room.

Haribo Sour Gold Bears. Haribo is a German confectionary founded in 1920 by Johannes “hans” Riegel, Sr. It is headquartered in Bonn and the name is an acronym from Hans Riegel, Bonn. Haibo made the first gummy candy in 1922 when Hans Riegel, Sr invented the first Gummibarchen(little gummy bears). Haibo’s German catchphrase is “haribo macht Kinder froh- und Erwachsene ebenso.” Haribo makes children happy – and adults as well. I love gummy bears and they are only getting better with the added sour and tangy coating.

Ritter Sport Milk Chocolates. Unfortunately, I live in a very warm state and this had to be refrigerated prior to being sampled. After it hardened and I finally got my hands on it I was blown away with the delicious chocolate and hazelnut combination. I am so glad I was the only person in the house and couldn’t possibly leave it to be finished later.

Bahlsen HIT Vanilla Cream Sandwich Cookies. Two fine, crisp, golden biscuits with delicious, vanilla cream filling. At home or while out and about, this popular classic just taste good anytime you want to snack on something sweet. It’s a delightful continental take on a custard cream. Although this is originally a product of Germany, they have shifted manufacturing to Bahlsen’s  Poland facility.

Lorenz Saltletts. These long thin pretzels sprinkled with sea salt are a real treat. They are crunchy, salty and baked, therefore, a bit healthier than chips. Just like chips, these would rock with some dip.

September’s TopMunch was great! All of the products were fresh and delicious.I can’t even decide what is my favorite item, they were all great. This is the first box that the entire family looked for more of every product. This box is a great way to sample treats from around the world that you probably wouldn’t be able to enjoy without visiting the country yourself. If you are a foodie or know one, this would be an awesome gift!
