Luxe Box is a quarterly beauty box curated by the same people behind Topbox. While the regular Topbox only ships within Canada, Luxe Box has a US version as well. Both boxes are $26 with free shipping and are sent out every three months. Luxe Box offers some customization options as boxes are being prepared, usually allowing subscribers to choose a foundation shade or a preference for nail polish, for example.

They have new packaging — the new box is shallower and they have eliminated the drawstring bag.

Everything in my box arrived safely wrapped in tissue and bubble wrap (which I’ve removed for the photo)!

Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk ($8) — Can’t wait to try this, the Klorane dry shampoo has won crazy beauty awards and is arguably the BEST. I’ve been trying not to wash my hair every day and this will help it last between washes when I feel a bit oily. It smells nice and light.

Manna Kadar Glo ($29) — A liquid highlighter by MK. This is a fullsize item. I prefer powder highlighter but while MK products are everywhere they’re generally good quality so I don’t doubt this will too. When I do use liquid I like mixing a little bit into my moisturizer!

AvryBeauty Hand Lotion with Shea Butter ($2.99) — This arrived just in time for the colder months. It’s very rich and creamy, but wasn’t too greasy.

Garnier SkinActive Moisture Bomb ($2) — WOW. I was really impressed by this product — it actually reminded me a lot of the belif aqua bomb moisturizer in the summer box. It’s a light gel texture that’s common in Asian skincare lines. I loved how light it felt but it kept my skin dewy and smooth all day.

Doucce Punk Volumizer Mascara ($10) — The sticker on mine was peeled off so I’m not sure of the exact size of this, but it looks to be around half the size of the fullsize. I love mascara samples like this. I didn’t open it as I’m still working through another tube. (Am I the only one who is diligent about throwing out their mascara after six months? That’s why I try not to keep too many open.)

LaRitzy Liquid Lip Stain in Pebble ($20) — This looks to be an unreleased colour! It’s a little too similar to something i have already so I passed it on to my friend Rachael. LaRitzy used to have their own subscription but they’re now a cosmetics line. I always enjoy their products!

GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment ($19) — This little sample is just under half the size of the 1.2 oz version, which is $45! I can’t believe how expensive GlamGlow is but their products generally do work well. The Clearing Treatment is for clogged, congested, and acne-prone skin. Use it as a mask or a spot treatment, which is what I do. This small tube will last me a while which is great.

Chins Glaze Born to Rule ($4?) — My favourite colour! This is from their new Fall 2017 collection.

Luxe Box tends to go through ups and downs in terms of consistency of quality, which is frustrating. I’m most excited about the moisturizer, clay mask, and dry shampoo but I was happy to see a LaRitzy item and the nail polish!

Eh, nothing mind blowing. The price isn’t great, but it’s not horrible.

    Thanks for reviewing!
