Kal-Elle Fandom Monthly is a fandom inspired box that sends 4-7 pieces of hand selected jewelry and collectibles each month. Kal-Elle announces the theme each month ahead of time so you can go in and skip if it is a fandom you just aren’t into.
In addition to the paper products each month, the other goodies are always wrapped in tissue paper. It makes opening the box each month just that much more fun.
The theme for August is Sherlocked.
The information card has a print with the theme on one side and on the back is a list of the included items with any artist info and website links for included items.
Oh WOW I’m a bit obsessed with this Sherlock Necklace. It hangs great and is so unique.
Look at the divets (there is probably a true jewelry name for these but I could only think of divets)! They give the necklace a distressed look and then there is some patina style to them and I’m in love.
Next up are the fun Holmes & Watson Earrings made my Kal-elle herself! Holmes & Watson go together like Peanut Butter and Jelly. They are simple but still so elegant. They are slightly dangly and are just the simple name and silhouette.
Well, we all know where Sherlock lives and this 221B Charm Bracelet is funky. This is a great way to show our love for Sherlock without out just out right saying it. I love wearing something that isn’t blatant and then having someone recognize it and give a geekdom nod.
This is taking me back to my middle school days and my BFF necklaces and earrings. I can’t wait to pass this on to one of my BFFs now. This Sherlock Keychain Set is a great hefty weight and is simple enough that it will hang good with my keys and not get caught up in my stuff when I just drop it in my bag.
We have been having a cool snap here and its only been in the 70s a couple days this week. For a southern girl that means I pull out the socks and start bundling up. These are perfect to get me ready for more of the cooler days to come. The Sherlock Socks are going to be a staple in my fall wardrobe. I can tell that already.
Each month, we get a 4×6 print with the theme for the month. I’m digging that Kal-Elle went with the iconic address over the silhouette for our print especially with the other silhouettes we have in the box.
We also get a magnet each month with the theme.
The handmade collaberative item this month is a Sherlock Decal from The Decal Drama. I’m a science girl at heart so this is a great mashup for me. I could see something like this on an episode of The Big Bang Theory or something. I need to discover the perfect spot for this one.
Kal-Elle Fandom Monthly sent a mysterious box this month. While I’m a Sherlock fan in general, I have not watched much of the show. I like Sherlock more for the over all story of him but I really should try the show since so many people rave on it. I liked the collection of items this month and how they while referencing the current show they are basic enough that all of us that like Sherlock can appreciate them.
Kal-Elle has posted that the next box is Disney Villains! I’m the hugest Disney Fan and then you toss in the spooktacular Villains and I’m flipping out over here. I can’t wait for this one to get here.
