Culture Carton’s slogan is a good model to live by!

Every month targets a different aspect of the life that a well-cultured man. July’s theme was “The Summer Box,” and it focused on building your charisma and confidence this Summer.

Everything in the July Culture Carton.

Dude Face Wipes On-The-Go ($7 on card,  $7.99 on Amazon): Summer means perspiration, but that doesn’t mean yuo have to let them see you sweat. this pack of wipes is perfect for a quick wash of the face without drying it out.

These also make a great after shaving moisturizer.

The Constitution of The United States: This pocket version gives you handy reference to our country’s founding documents.

It includes the Preamble and the Bill of Rights and subsequent amendments.

Some quotes from Madison, Washington, and Jefferson on the value of education are also included.

Hook & Albert No Show Socks ($14 on card, $13.50 on website): These socks are ideal for boat shoes and loafers for which regular socks aren’t suited. They have a very soft material, thin profile, and a durable elastic top edge.

The dark, earthy tones would go well with most shoes, but you probably won’t see them anyway (so they’ll go with anything).

Blenders Eyewear Stickers: Our new shades came with some promo stickers and a free shipping code for follow-on orders.

Blenders Eyewear M Class Sunglasses ($45): Polarized shades to protect your eyes and give you a mysterious vibe.

The styling is very classy, with a less than opaque grey frame and partially reflective lenses.

The lenses are category 3 polarized, suitable for outdoor and sporting use, but not too dark to drive in.

The hinges are embedded in the stems.

The styling is really sleek. It has some nice striped accents without being too wild.

A soft case is included.

The Charisma Myth By Olivia Fox Cabane ($16 on card, $9.77 on Amazon): This month’s book breaks down the mystery of charisma, offering concrete strategies for building your own.

The text de-mystifies the notion of charisma, breaking it down into a set of defined behaviors you can adopt.

Each chapter examines a different aspect of the charismatic personality, and handy summaries outline key takeaways and strategies to improve your own charisma game.

This is fun subscription for self-improvers. Culture Carton refreshingly addresses those areas of life often overlooked in the subscription box world — finances, cultural refinement, and intellect. Every box has a book relating to some area of self improvement, so there is something to learn every month. I like that it limits itself to a manageable number of high-quality items instead of lobbing in cheap stuff as filler. The value is usually good – this month had a value of about $76 (listed $82 on card) – pretty good deal for a $40 subscription. The value on the card often overstates the market price, but the actual value always well exceeds the price.
