The product information card doesn’t list the products, although it does say there is a cleanser. There must have been a last-minute change since there were no cleansers in the box, and even the link lists a cleanser.
I love the tropical feel of the paper!
The back side of the card says you can find more info at this link but it didn’t work, but you can find the products here.
Everything in my box! I love sunscreen and wish this had come just a week earlier so I could have put it to work under the hot California sun on my vacation, but it’s all good since I live in Texas and I know I will use it all up – I am the sunscreen queen! I’m no doctor but even if you live in Greenland you should wear sunscreen to protect from the sun’s rays. I’ve had family members with skin cancer and hope to avoid that same fate.
There was a mix of different sizes and a couple will only be used once or twice but some will last longer. Either way, I now have a $19.99 credit towards more sunscreen so these are just bonus items in my opinion!
I think I’ve tried almost every Supergoop! product out there thanks to Birchbox. Supergoop! Everyday Sunscreen with Cellular Response Technology SPF 50 ($2.68) is an oil-free lotion that can be used on the face or body. It’s also water-resistant up to 80 minutes and is a great classic sunscreen for every day use or for swimming etc. Obagi Sun Shield Matte Broad Spectrum SPF 50 Sunscreen ($16.12) is pretty big, 1/3 of the full-sized product. It is non-greasy and fragrance free but not water-resistant, so I would recommend it for every day use and not for the beach.
PCA Skin Weightless Protection Broad Spectrum SPF 45 ($5.06) has a light scent and is perfect for every day use as it’s not water-resistant. MD Solar Sciences Mineral Tinted Crème Broad Spectrum SPF 30 ($4.49) can be used as a primer or tinted moisturizer. I swatched it but it almost disappeared into my skin. I liked the feel and that it has antioxidants, plus it’s water-resistant.
La Roche-Posay Anthelios 60 Broad Spectrum Sunscreen for the Face ($1.80) was quickly absorbed by my skin so I could put foundation over top. Water resistant means it’s good for the pool or beach but even though it’s SPF 60, it should be reapplied every 80 minutes (like all sunscreens.)
Vita Liberata Ten Minute Tan ($4.63) is one of those products that I will pass on to my daughter. I did try it on my arm and right away I could smell that telltale scent of self tanner. Here’s the good part: 10 minutes after applying, you jump in the shower to rinse it off (don’t use soap!) and your color will develop over the next 4-6 hours.
Jane Iredale LipDrink Lip Balm with SPF 15 in Buff ($5.36) Oohh, I like the lemonade flavor of this lip balm! I swatched it on my arm but couldn’t tell, it is just sheer and even feels light on my lips, not sticky or heavy.
iS Clinical Hydra-Cool Serum ($13.20) is designed to soothe irritated skin and can be used by those with sensitive skin.
The ingredient list is short, but I wish it didn’t contain blue dye. I don’t think of dye as skin care.
Hyaluronic acid draws moisture to the skin while extracts help heal. My skin is looking pretty rough after my vacation due to the sun, sea water, smog, and dry plane air and could use a bit of a boost right now.
Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream ($1.60) is supposed to be one of Japan’s best-selling skin care products! Glycerine, hyaluronic acid, and camphor are a few of the ingredients and it reminds me of a creamy Carmex.
I’m not sure if the date on the end is the production date or expiration date. The plastic wrapper had the year 2016 on it so I’m going to go with production date. I’ve tried this product before and it seems exactly as it should be, no off smell or weird consistency.
Well, this should hold me over for my sunscreen needs for a bit! Whether you prefer to try before you buy or just need some smaller sizes to carry in a purse, backpack, or overnight bag, these items are perfectly portable. They may seem small for the price, but you can use the $19.99 credit on over 200 different sunscreens and related items, so these are really just what the name says, a bonus. I went ahead and broke down the values and found them to be worth $54.94! Wow, I wasn’t expecting it to be that high but sunscreen is expensive, y’all! I liked trying old favorites and new-to-me luxurious brands.
