Anime Bento is a monthly subscription box for true anime fans! With this subscription you’ll receive Japanese toys, collectibles, and other swag from your favorite anime shows delivered straight to your door every month. Anime Bento is committed to sending only authentic products, too. Moe-chan, depicted on the cover of the box, is Anime Bento’s official mascot.

Moe-chan is a master chef and bento artist. You wouldn’t know it by looking at her saucy get-up, but she’s a sweet 16.

She enjoys watching comedic anime and is often caught doodling when she should be working. Her dream is to one day open a great restaurant where food and art can be equally appreciated. She attends the local high school and is popular with her class mates. Moe has very close friends that she works with and always makes sure that they always have a good lunch to eat. When she is not working at a maid cafe in Akihabara or going to school, she helps run the Social media sites for Anime Bento.

Anime Bento Folder — An Anime Bento exclusive! Moe-chan and her friends are dressed in colourful summer yukata on this file folder.

Ranma 1/2 Shirt — Eeeeeeee! Ranma 1/2 is one of my favourite retro series from the 90s. The basic story is that Ranma and his father visit a curset hot spring. Now when Ranma is splashed with cold water, he turns into a girl. When his dad is splashed, he turns into a panda, which is on the shirt.

Tucked in the box were some blind boxes. SQUEEEE Sailor Moon! And Dragon Ball Z — growing up in the 90s, these are pretty much the main shows being dubbed into English for Canadian and American TV.

I got Chibiusa! Or, as she’s called here, Princess Small Lady Serenity. She’s super cute in her little dress and the crescent moon on her forehead.

She hangs over the edge of the stand. If you have a plastic cup or glass, she’ll also hold onto that too. Mine was a bit too thick of plastic and she ended up falling into my grape juice. Oops. Sorry, Chibiusa!

It’s Vegeta… I think. I never actually watched DBZ. A piece of gum is included with the figure.

Lastly — a sneak peek for next month’s box! Looks like it includes a Final Fantasy figure. And a piece of purple taffy was also included.

The Ranma shirt was definitely the hero of the box this month! I also love the Sailor Moon item. Someone needs to start a Sailor Moon subscription box… seriously, someone please get on that! Anime Bento is a reliable anime box with a nice mixture of current series and retro series.
