So many fun projects in this box and with Earth Day in April both of my boys have been talking about eco and green living.

All of the projects were in their own bags with information and direction cards in each with some of the larger items just in the box itself.

First up was the Hydro-Powered Water Wheel. This one took a bit of time and hands but the kids all thought it turned out cool.

Next up was a self propelled paddle boat.

My son was pretenting to be Ash from Pokemon as he was working on this to start.

Once the neighbor girls came over they kept working and decided the top needed a plane.  They said the boat worked great when they were playing with it out in on the water table.

These were fun and I somehow didn’t manage to get any pictures of them.  I thought I did but I guess not.  Oops. They were easy to put together and made some fun outdoor playtime.

The extra project this month was a solar oven and my neighbors were telling my boys all about it. They had just made some at school and decided we had to make Smores with it.  The first day it was too overcast and cloudy so I told them I would buy the supplies and we’d make them the next day.  It worked out great and we still have this sitting by the back door so we can make them again.

Look at that melty gooey chocolate!!!  They were delicious and it really was a great way to kick off the summer months.

Green Kid Crafts sent another great box of educational crafts. I love that my neighbors were able to help my boys make the projects and were telling them all about how they work and what’s going on. I love having creations that are also educational and bring out talking and learning points.  It gives us something to spend time as a family on and this box is great for that.
