Love with Food is a fun snack discovery subscription available in three versions: Tasting Box, Deluxe (family size), and Gluten-Free. They also offer an Office Plan for sharing with your co-workers. I shared these snacks with my family of 3 (sometimes 4 when my daughter is home from college.) What sets this subscription apart?

  • No artificial flavoring, coloring, or MSG
  • No trans fats and hydrogenated oils
  • No high fructose corn syrup
  • Snacks are natural, organic or gluten-free

FYI, you can see our reviews of all 3 varieties of Love With Food boxes here.

DEAL: You can try out Love With Food by using this link to get your first Deluxe Box for $5 off or get your first Classic Size Box for $7.99. You can also save 25% on your first Gluten-Free box by using this link. As always, Love With Food donates meals to charity with each box purchased.

Love with Food’s theme for May was “Savor Every Moment.” There were a couple of discount codes on the card and it tells how you can win a special box when you share pictures on social media. If you want to know more about the snacks in your box then you can go to the website and see which snacks are gluten-free, kosher, vegan, etc. You can find this month’s deets here.

There were several coupons this month plus cards with more coupon codes!

Finally, there was a card with a code for a free bonus box when you sign up for a 6-month subscription.

Everything in my box!

MadeGood Chocolate Banana Granola Bar  At first I thought chocolate and banana sounded weird together, then I remembered how I used to walk to the local Dairy Queen in the summer to get a humongous chocolate covered banana. The chocolate flavor in this bar wasn’t very pronounced, but it was sweet and chewy and had a good assortment of vitamins inside.

Dolcetto Cookies & Cream Wafer Bites I’m not much of an Oreo fan but this is better since the cookie is light and flaky and then there’s the cream filling inside the little pillow puff. Yum!

I like Lance Gluten Free Peanut Butter Bite Size Sandwich Crackers even more than the conventional gluten-full product! These are just tasty, flaky, and perfect. Enlightened Garlic & Onion Roasted Broad Beans are fava beans with some tasty chip-like flavor and are similar to roasted soy nuts, in that they are harder than peanuts. I was pleasantly surprised at the flavor and impressed by the amount of fiber (3 grams) and protein (7 grams).

Glutino Gluten Free Pretzel Twists are similar to a cracker and are kind of sweet and salty. They reminded me of Auntie Anne’s pretzels at the mall, except harder and not hot.

I didn’t get a chance to try Banza Chickpea Pasta Mac and Cheese since this is a meal and takes some prep (like BOILING water!) and I’m saving it for a later date. The pasta is made with garbanzo beans so it has more protein and fiber than regular mac and cheese. I tend to buy the white cheddar flavor anyways so it shouldn’t be too different for my family to accept!

Jackson’s Honest Sea Salt & Vinegar Potato Chips and Sweet Potato Chips are perfect for perking up a boring sandwich lunch – just grab and go! Both varieties are made with non-GMO vegetables and organic coconut oil. The sea salt & vinegar variety is made with apple cider vinegar. The sweet potato chips were perfect – crunchy and sweet, with a day’s worth of vitamin A.

Slice of Life Organics Energy + B12 Adult Gummy Vitamins If you dislike swallowing horse pill-sized vitamins, then these are a tastier way to get your daily dose of vitamins. They have a gummy candy consistency and are sweet, with only a touch of vitamin flavor. Two gummies provide enough vitamin B6, B12, and folic acid for the day and may help with the heart and circulatory system, as well as help your body metabolize the energy from your food.

WOWBUTTER Wow, this is good substitute for peanut butter! It’s made with roasted soybeans and has a bit of that roasted soy nut flavor, but it also has a similar consistency to peanut butter. It was a little sweet, like Skippy, and I used it as a dip for the gluten free pretzels. I had to throw one of the packages away because it had a slit in the cover.

La Panzanella Multigrain Croccantini Crackers are perfect for pairing with cheese, salami, or other tasty toppings. The flavor is simple and features a variety of grains such as triticale, amaranth, and quinoa. Mandy’s Rich Chocolate Cookie Thins are similar to an Oreo, but without the cream, and with white sugar sprinkled over the top.

My bag of cookies was crushed, which would have been hard to eat at work, but luckily I was at home so I just poured them on a plate and picked up the pieces. They would also be good mixed into vanilla ice cream.

Bakery on Main Maple Multigrain Muffin Instant Oatmeal I was happy to see that this offered 5 grams of fiber in a serving, plus it had certified gluten free oats, flax, and chia. I followed the directions for the microwave, but ended up adding a bit more water and cooked it for a longer time.

I thought it tasted pretty good, but I added raisins, walnuts, and a splash of half and half to make it more fulfilling. I didn’t need to add sweetener and I felt satisfied until lunch time.

I’m always excited to see my cheery red Love with Food box in the mail, and I always have a hard time picking a favorite item! I love grabbing something tasty to eat on the go, either for a snack or as a special addition to my lunch. I appreciate the fact that Love with Food sends items that can be enjoyed by everyone, including young children. If you review your items for points and have an annual subscription it brings down the cost of the box, plus the coupon codes add to the value. Of course, you can always buy the items individually or in bulk but I prefer the convenience of having a variety of snacks to choose from. I simply grab a treat and stick it in my lunchbox and don’t have to think about it. My family enjoyed finding new favorites, plus Love With Food donates meals to charity with each box purchased!
