Fortune Cookie Soap is a bath & body company that regularly releases themed collections throughout the year, usually focusing on pop culture. I’ve used their products before but what I didn’t know is that they have a quarterly subscription box. The soap box includes small travel/sample sized versions of the products that will be in an upcoming collection. Since the collections sell out very quickly on release day (I know from experience!) this is an awesome way to get a sneak peek at what’s coming.
Summer’s theme is Pirates! The new Pirates of the Caribbean movie is coming out pretty soon!
The information card breaks down the items by product as well as offers scent notes.
Black Pearl Exfoliating Body Wash — Pineapple, pink pepper, tobacco, suede, peony and jasmine. This is a scrubby body wash for exfoliation.
Walk the Plank Hand Sanitizer — Oak, aged bourbon, sugar cane, pomelo, tobacco, and mandarin. The FCS hand sanitizers are a staple in my house and I stash them in every room.
Mermaid Tears Shimmer Perfume Oil — Sugar cane and morning dew. This has a pretty blue shimmer in it.
Aqua de Vida Cleansing Oil — Sweet coconut and rum. This has the same blue shimmer in it.
Monkey Business Whipped Cream` — Lemon, pineapple, and banana almond cake. I love the whipped cream, it’s so light and fluffy.
Parlay Lip Scrub — Lime and coconut. I’m in need a good lip scrub so I’m excited to try this.
Calypso Foot Scrub — Peach blossoms, berries, floral hearts, amber, vanilla musk, and fig. It’s getting to be flip flop season so this is well timed!
Bring Me That Horizon Soap — Cactus pear, ghost flowers, water lilies, sea mist and warm sands. The fortune cookie soaps have messages or quotes in the inside!
The summer box had a nice mix of tropical scents with darker, more heady and sensual scents. I really liked the pirate theme and there were some new products featured such as the shimmer perfume and the solid foot scrub!
