Alpha Outpost is a monthly subscription that is meant to equip you for any situation, disasters, emergencies, and every day life!

Each month’s box is centered around a different theme. Each month’s theme poses a question which the box answers through products and training.

When you order the Alpha Outpost subscription, your first three boxes are preset. The first month is their EDC box, then the Upgraded Gentleman and lastly, the Upgraded Medic box. Your fourth box and from there on out will be the regular monthly theme.

The Alpha Outpost magazine in each box features the monthly box theme. This month’s theme is “Range”.

“The Range Box is an emergency go to kit that has the tools you need to be safe & ready at a moment’s notice.  Fuse it with your EDC and add more shooting content if you wish!  Either way, you now have the tools and training to relax and have fun in a safe way, all while sharpening your shooting skills at the range.”

The master curator for this month is a former law enforcement training center firearms instructor.

The magazine features a “Pack List” on the first page which details each item in the box and the retail value.

The magazine continues in a comic book style.

There are tips on what gear to take to the range with you and shooting range “Don’t”s.

There is tips to improve your pistol aim and weapon safety rules. Number two of the safety rules, “Never point a weapon at anything you do not intend to shoot. The gun might be loaded, even if you think it isn’t.” It was always a rule my dad was adamant about growing up. We were in big trouble even for aiming toy guns at each other.

This page was about the color code system for mental conditioning.

The back of the magazine. “Share us or the terrorists win!” Ha ha!

Uvex Glasses $29 – “Ballistic eyewear made by defense contractor Honeywell.”

These are model S3301x Genesis XC High Impact Protector Safety Glasses. They have great coverage and fit snuggly on your face. They also included a yellow tint lens that pops right into the frame. The frames also have a lifetime guarantee!

Gun Tool $25 – “By Real Avid, the multi-tool for all of your gun needs.”

“The Gun Tool features 18 of the most frequently used tools for rifles and shotguns in an ergonomic body designed for perfect grip and proper leverage and ideal torque. It has a magnetic 3/16″ bit driver with Phillips® P00 & P1, Flat 1/8″ & 3/16″ drivers in a spring-loaded hatch; Torx® T20, T15 and T10, Allen® 5/32″ and 3/32″ wrenches, a scope turret windage & elevation tool, a universal choke tube wrench fits .410, 28, 20, 16, 12, 10 ga., a 420 stainless claw point blade, and a pin punch.”

The Gun Tool came with it’s own detailed product description sheet.

The gun tool has a multitude of tools that you need for gun repair and maintenance all in one handy tool.

This pamphlet describes some of Read Avid’s other products for your gun maintenance needs.

Gun Oil $15 – “Three items you need to clean and lubricate your weapons.”

There were three 2oz spray bottles of Gun Oil from Metalloid Firearm Products.

The first, Metacor 57 Gun Bore Cleaner, “Instantly cleans firearm bores to a ‘Mirror Finish’ without creating a mess, noxious odors or excessive residue build-up.  In just one application this product cleans, lubricates, and protects your firearm’s bore and any other metal surface it contacts.  This unique formulation dries instantly, sealing the bore’s metal surface from moisture and humidity for long-term indoor storage.

The second was Green Gun Oil.  “This revolutionary product employs ‘green chemistry’ with natural ingredients to lubricate, clean, condition and protect metal surfaces on firearms and other metallic sports equipment.  The product uses American made, biodegradable, bio-renewable, and bio-sustainable ingredients.”

The third was Green Stock Oil.  “A botanically derived gun stock conditioner for hunters, gunsmiths, target shooters and sports enthusiast.  Green Stock Oil is formulated with only biodegradable, natural ingredients that will recondition and restore all wood surfaces.  The formulation can be applied to old and new gun stocks to clean, seal and restore the luster of the wood surface.”

This sheet from Metalloid (they make the gun oil) was in the box and described some of their other products in addition to the three oils in our box.

Targets (3) $5 – “Take out these three tactical animals!”

This challenge from Alpha Outpost was in the box. They suggest that you put 5 rounds in each of the included targets (below) and post a picture or video to social media with them tagged.

The targets are comical. A bear with a hunting knife… I think he would be just fine without that.

A deer with a rifle. Dangerous.

And a duck with a pistol. This is definitely not safe.

Eye Pro Bag $4 – “Protect your glasses in this super soft sack.”

They included a bag to put the glasses and the extra lens in. Perfect!! I love it when a box thinks of the practical needs and fills the need.

Ear Pro $3 – “Huh? What’d you say?”

Gotta protect your ears, because guns are loud. Really loud.

Patch $3 – “Everyday should be Range Day!”

This A-Range patch has Velcro on the back so you can slap it on your favorite hat or bag.

Alpha Outpost‘s Range box was well curated and packed with manly goodies.  And, the value of the box, $84, was well over the price of the box.  This box will prepare you to maintain your guns and to practice at the range in style.  The men in my family were thrilled with the box and can’t wait to see more from Alpha Outpost!
