Lootaku is a monthly geek subscription box from Hong Kong packed with high-quality geek and gamer items. The subscription costs $49.00 per month + shipping (currently about $17 to the US), and you’ll get 4-6 themed products, like plushies, action figures, memorabilia, etc., to satisfy your geeky cravings monthly – no fillers or promo items!

I like how the outside of the box is beautifully designed. A Chest – Full of Loot!

FYI – Lootaku dropped its price this year, reducing both the cost of the box and the shipping slightly, to the tune of about $7 in the US.

The theme this month is “WARRIORS OF THE FUTURE.”

DEAL: If you’re looking to try it out, save 5% on your subscription – even longer lengths! Just use this link to get the deal.

The item information card, or “Loot Table,” is thick and glossy, with lots of detail. When there are variations, it typically lists each possible variation you might receive!

All the goodies inside my March Lootaku Box!

Sword Art Online Wall Scroll – Asuna ($10) A high-quality and beautifully illustrated display featuring Asuna, the deuteragonist of Sword Art Online.

Final Fantasy Dialog Box Laser Cut Fridge Magnet – Sephiroth ($7 on Card, $8 on Etsy) This is such a cool handmade magnet featuring a quote from Sephiroth, one of the best video game villains and characters in Final Fantasy. It’s made of thick acrylic so it’s nice and sturdy.

Sword Art Online Mug – Kirito ($10)  A nice ceramic mug to show off one’s love for Sword Art Online!

A closer look at the mug! Its print is of high-quality, and it’s nice that the whole mug is covered with the print so it doesn’t look too ordinary.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Fusion Sword Replica ($20) This is a replica of the six-piece sword wielded by Cloud Strife.

Different blades for different uses and combat situations!

Items were well-kept in a box. So shiny and ready for battle!

The First Ken or First Tsurugi is the blade that forms the base.

If you’ve seen Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, this was Cloud’s preferred weapon. The set of swords can combine into a single large sword too.

We had fun assembling it! Here’s a closer look at the individual pieces that make up the full sword.

Banpresto Dragon Ball Z Resolution of Soldiers Vol. 5 – Future Trunks ($30 on card, $34.97 on Amazon)

This grown-up Trunks figure is a character from the future in the hit anime and manga series Dragon Ball Z. He is the son of Vegeta and Bulma.

We received the figure inside a box with mostly Japanese characters.

It’s an easy-to-assemble piece that you can quickly build.

The purple-haired warrior is all suited up!

With the great craftsmanship, this item is indeed a must-have for every Dragon Ball fan.

Nailed the whole serious and very cautious Trunks look!

And yes, this is an officially licensed item. It was just released this February!

Banpresto SQ Line Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale – Yuki ($38 on Card, $34.92 on Amazon) We got another figurefrom Banpresto!

It’s Yuki, the protagonist of the Mother’s Rosary Arc of Sword Art Online. Even its box looked great with the illustrations!

It has a stand and was also easy to assemble.

Subscribers will get one of the two versions: one is Yuki’s original color scheme and the other is an Asuna-inspired color scheme.

We got the original color scheme of Yuuki.

Woah, those eyes look pretty real!

As expected from original Banpresto items, the details of this figure are precise and well-crafted.

Doesn’t the hair look cool? It even matches Trunks’ hair color!

Most of the items we received this month are from Sword Art Online, but Lootaku brings in something new every month so I know we can still look forward to variety. High-quality figures are always welcome and we even got two from this box!
