April’s Barkbox Super Chewer has arrived! Super Chewer is a monthly subscription box for dogs “who demand a challenge.” Each box has 4-6 dog products and is customized to the size of your pup, plus it has a cute theme. All natural treats, tough toys, and challenging chews are included in the monthly box. BarkBox will replace a toy for free if your dog defeats it. We selected the Super Chewer box Large Dog for our two dogs that love to chew and destroy toys. Odie, a Borador (half Border Collie and half Labrador Retriever), is the main reviewer. Bella, our mini Rat Terrier, is his assistant.
I couldn’t tell what the theme would be this month from the paper. It looked like a psychedelic 70s theme, but the word ‘sick’ threw me off.
It’s Throwback Thursday! Time for the pups to party like it is 1990.
Here’s Bella’s Throwback Thursday picture. She is nine months old in this picture.
Here are the items in the April BarkBox Super Chewer Large Dog.
Both Bella and Odie enjoyed chewing on the Sawmill Creek Smokehouse Pig Ear Chew ($5.00) which is sourced and made in the USA. Barkbox made me laugh because it is labeled as OSFA (One Size Fits All) on the website. I never thought of it that way.
Bella chewed on it first. She is a little larger than a male cat.
Odie finished up the ear. They do agree with Barkbox that OSFA!
They also enjoyed sharing the smart n’ tasty Chicky Twizzles ($3.00) which was nine inches of delicious chicken. It is free of grain, gluten, and dairy.
Odie enjoyed it first while Bella enjoyed eating the pig’s ear.
Later they switched. The dogs were eager to practice being super chewers on a beautiful spring day. Our teenager needs to cut the grass before it grows taller than Bella.
Thanks to Guardian of the Galaxy, our eight year old son recognized the Mix Breed Mix Tape Vol 7 (appx $12.00).
He was disappointed that it was not a real cassette tape. However, the doggies were happy that I filled it with treats.
Tails were wagging as they realized that Mommy put yummy treats in their toy.
Odie loves playing with balls. He enjoyed playing fetch with the Made in the USA Sodapup Crazy Bounce Ball ($12.00).
He is waiting for J (age 8) to throw the ball as Bella checks for more treats.
Odie approved of the B’Nana & Coco Dog Treats (5.5 oz, appx $6.00). The made in the USA treats have peanut butter and banana as its ingredients. The treats smell like banana and peanut butter!
The doggies will eat the entire bag of Barkbox Duck Treats (5.5 oz, $6.00) if I let them. The Made in the USA treats are free of chicken which means Daisy can enjoy them too!
Time for more doggy pictures!
As far as the dogs were concerned, it was about the chews. Sometimes they want to play first, but not this time.
Later they switched chews. I noticed that Odie moved the prized pig ear away from Bella.
The happy doggies enjoyed finding delicious duck treats in their cassette toy.
Bella is checking for more treats!
Odie is showing off his Border Collie side as he chases after the ball.
He is such a joyful dog as he runs after the ball. He loves playing ball!
Odie and Bella enjoyed their Throwback Thursday as they partied as though it was 1990. The April Super Chewer BarkBox satisfied their chewing and playing needs. The treats were tasty, the chews were yummy, and the durable toys keep their interest. One of the advantages of Barkbox SuperChewer is that it will replace a toy if your dog defeats it. The value of the box came to approximately $44.00 or higher because I had to estimate two prices. Check out Brandy’s Small Dog Box Review which is New York themed. Barkbox is an excellent choice for doggies and their humans that want fun boxes full of wonderful themed toys and treats.

Howloooo! Isn’t this throwbark Super Chewer BarkBox SO FETCH? 🙂 I am so glad that you got to reminisce with your son, and that he recognized the mix tape! It wasn’t too long ago that all our music was on cassette tapes and we were rollerblading with our puppers!
I absowoofly agree with your statement about the chews – it looks like they were a big hit with Odie and Bella! The Super Chewer BarkBox comes with two chews so it is perfect for your pack. My pup would never want to share his precious chews!
It’s always great hearing what Bella and Odie love best and seeing them play. Thank you so much for sharing, Anna!
Odie is an easy-going doggy. His best bud is Bella and is happy to share with her. 🙂 Thank you for reading!
