Kids Prize Pack is a fun kids’ subscription box that centers its theme around books, toys, and activities each month. There are four age categories: Boys ages 4-8, Girls ages 4-8, Boys ages 9-12, Girls ages 9-12. The boxes range from early readers to chapter books along with age appropriate toys and collectibles. This is always such a fun box for my boys and they love the story and how the toys fit into the overall theme.

First look into our February box. My two boys are now 6 and 9 (not sure how they are getting to be so big) and we get the 9-12 box. My older son loves to read and we are working at getting some longer more challenging chapter books so having the older box gives him books to grow into.

DEAL: Save 10% on your first month with code MARKETPLACE2016.

Each month, we get an information card that tells about the theme. This month’s they did a collaboration with Alex Brands and sent us items that come from them. You can see all the great items they offer at Alexbrands.com. Each month we also get a magnet with the theme of the box. My boys run these right to our fridge.

Every month there is a comic included. Some months it has its own card and is two-sided but this month it is on the back of the info card. My 9-year-old loves graphic novels and takes off with the comics each month as soon as they come in.

Superman: Man of Tomorrow (Backstories) ($4.79) – I love a good backstory and how things came to be. I know the basics of Superman but I don’t know it all. I’m thinking this will be a good one to read with my younger son and we can both get into it.

How did a child from another planet named Kal-El become farm boy Clark Kent? What happened to his planet and family? What powers does he possess and what are his weaknesses? Who are his most trusted allies and fearsome foes? In this biography–complete with black-and-white illustrations, timelines, and fact boxes–young readers will delight in learning the complete history of Metropolis’s fearless protector.

Mancala ($12.99) – I have not played this game in years. My little sister used to love it when she was a kid and we played but we don’t even own it at my house. I’m going to have to show my boys how to play.

Mancala is a classic game loved by all ages! This set from Ideal® features a folding wooden board making it perfect for travel! Bring it on road trips, to picnics, camping, birthday parties, or family game nights! Mancala will challenge kids and adults to use problem solving and math skills – exercise for your brain! The benefits of mental exercise are tremendous for all ages! Perfect for ages 6 and up! Designed for 2 players.

Rage Card Game ($6.25) – Oh this one looks like fun. I’m taking it on our trip so we can play it in the hotel room when we have some downtime.

Ideal Rage is an evil card game that requires both luck and strategy to win. Based on the hand you are dealt, you determine how many tricks you can win and bid that number. Maintain a greater lead by using action cards and assuring your opponents don’t make their bids!

At the beginning of each round, the 2-8 players are dealt cards and must guess how many cards they will wind up with. The first card played is the trump color and players must match that if possible. The highest card in that color wins the round, but if a player doesn’t have that color, they can play a Rage Action Card which could do a number of things to mess with your opponents.

Wobble Top ($4.99) – This one looks like a ton of fun and a lot of laughs. I’m also thinking this would make a great adult game one night with some drinks to go along with it.

Stack the tops on the board but be careful that the tops don’t tip. Wobble Top includes a game platform, 36 tops, 1 dice and instructions. Can be played with 1 player or with friends.

Zoob 15 pieces ($7.99) – How fun are these? Both of my boys love building pieces and my younger son already started creating with these.

The perfect introduction to ZOOB building sets. Learn how the pieces fit together for unlimited creative building. This 15 piece set comes with easy to follow instructions to make a cell phone, airplane twirling top and little critter. A party favor kid’s would love to take home! Use this building set with other ZOOB sets, sold separately.

ZOOB pieces are based on a natural and living system and features pieces that snap, click or pop together in different ways, making building easy and versatile. ZOOB building sets are unique in that the pieces move after they are put together, allowing for truly interactive creations.Collect ZOOB sets for more interactive pieces!

Another fantastic month for Kids Prize Pack. So many games in here this month and we are a game family and ready to play them. This is the second month they’ve done a collaboration of sorts and I’m all for it. I love getting lots of items from the same company so they have a cohesive feel to it all. The only oddity this month would be the book but we already have it packed to read so we like it I just don’t think it fits with the other items.  Kids Prize Pack does a great job in curating their boxes and whether it be a collaboration month or a regular theme the items are classics and so fun to play with each month.
