Pet Treater is a monthly dog treat, toy, and accessory box. Each box shipped results in a bag of treats, toy or accessory donated to a shelter in need. Choose from 3 size options (based on weight) to find the right fit for your furry friend – Small (0-20 pounds), Medium (21-50 pounds), and Large (51 + pounds).

I know I shouldn’t laugh, but that picture is TOO funny.  ???

DEAL:  Through Feb. 12 new Pet Treater subscribers can use code PT-BONUSTOY at checkout to receive a free randomly selected toy in your first box! OR Save $5 on your first box with coupon code LOVE-PT5. OR Get a free pet bed with your first box! Use coupon code FREE-PTBED. ONLY valid on 3, 6, and 12-month plans.

This month, the girls received a letter from Cincy Grace. She explained some Christmas traditions and reminded them that it is better to give than receive.

FYI, FIRST TIME subscribers will receive a first time box, which is full of past favorites and will NOT be a themed box.

The holidays are here with December’s Pet Treater box.

Exclusively Dog Natural Ingredients Sausage Bits – Chewy ($10.99): These are now on sale for $7.59 at Chewy.com. I love giving the girls training treats like these because they are low in calories, making it easier for me to keep an eye on their weight. I think the girls like these because they can have more than one piece at a time. These are made with lots of porky goodness and have traditional sausage flavors such as garlic, sage, oregano, and smoke.

Puppy Cake Wheat-Free Cake Mix – Red Velvet ($6.99): Last month, the girls received ice cream from Puppy Cake that they loved. So, I was happy to see this cake mix come in. Red velvet with cream cheese frosting is a human favorite in our house and now the pups can join in on the goodness. I’m going to hold this for the girls’ birthday since it has a good shelf life.

The box comes with cake mix and cream cheese frosting mix. You can bake this into a small sheet cake or cupcakes.

Mammoth Flossy Chews Cloth ($7.99): This was a favorite toy for my sister’s dog. She played tug o’ war with it so much that the cloth was pulled out of the bone! We’ll gift her this one as a replacement. I like this because it allows the dogs to play together, and the chew elements help to keep their teeth clean.

Multipet Loofa Reindeer Toy ($8.99): We’ve received a few of these loofa toys in recent subscriptions. This little guy is dressed as a reindeer. He measures 12″ long and features a squeaker.

Pawsitively Gourmet Snowman Cookie ($2.50?):  Do you want to build a snowman… ? I love decorated sugar cookies and thought that my girls would too. Not so much. They liked the frosting but left the cookie. That’s not a reflection of the cookie – they just aren’t big fans of cookies or biscuits.

Here’s Lexi checking out her new cookie treat. She looks hesitant, but after the camera was gone she gobbled this up (sort of).

Vo-Toys Siesta Time “Lights Out” Pet Throw ($7.99): This measures 37″ x 29″ and is the perfect size for one of the pet beds we have. This light throw also resists pet hair, which I love. Every other throw has hairs embedded in it, despite my best cleaning efforts. It has a “VIP” monogram on one corner.

Lily immediately claimed this throw for herself. She is a bit of a blanket hog and claims every throw in the house. The VIP monogram definitely suits her attitude.

However, Lexi refuses to be pushed aside… especially because that is her bed! There was a small white spot left on the throw after I removed the inspection sticker. I should be able to get it out when I do the wash.

Pet Treater Christmas Pet Bandanna ($10.00?): This is a cute bandanna. Too bad it is made for a large dog! I think Pet Treater did such a great job curating items for my dogs, but they keep missing the mark with the bandannas. These need to be scaled to match the size of the dog(s) getting the box.

**HUMAN TREAT** 2017 I Love Bacon Calendar ($5.99):  What’s better than bacon?  Um, how about 365 days of bacon! Each month’s display features a bacon-packed recipe and bacon trivia.

There was also a coupon for Hello Fresh. Remember, as a Hello Subscription reader you can save $40 off your first box. Use coupon code 7UT7K8.

I estimated the value of December’s Pet Treater at nearly $63. This is a much better value than we received last month. Also, there were several things that my girls liked, which makes me happy. I think our favorite box item was the throw. My only complaint is that we keep getting pet scarves that are not sized for my small dogs, so they’ve become gifts to our other pet friends.
