Birchbox is a beauty sample subscription box with 5 new items to test out each month. Birchbox is $10 a month and you can choose a monthly sample during selection time, let Birchbox decide, or pick a pre-curated box. They are currently testing out additional subscription options – check that info out here.

This is the curated Lip Love Box! Current subscribers can buy this exact box for $10, which is still available.

Yes, February is known for its sweetness—what with all the hearts and chocolates—but it’s also full of frigid weather that can cause dryness and dullness head-to-toe. Instead of hibernating until May, opt for this curated box: It’s filled with products to liven up your lips, restore your hair, and refresh your skin.

DEAL: For a limited time use coupon code 15BEMINE to save 15% off a 6 or 12-month Birchbox or Birchbox Man gift subscription, code LIPSYNC to get a FREE Lip Sync Kit (a $68 value) when you sign up for a 6-month Birchbox subscription, or coupon code PATINA to get a FREE stila Stay All Day® Liquid Lipstick in Patina and a mirror with your first month of a Birchbox subscription! [See details on all codes on this post].

The information card gives brief details on each item.

You can visit Birchbox.com/MyBox to easily see the details of your box, which I recommend because sometimes they have videos on the item product pages which I find useful.

Everything in the February 2017  Lip Love Curated Box!

The Beauty Crop PBJ Smoothie Stick in Saucy Marsala ($14.95) I do like the texture of this lip product, which contains almond oil for moisturizing but manages to be right in between matte and glossy.

Unfortunately the color wasn’t exactly right for my skin tone. A little too on the brick spectrum for me. How did it work for you?

Acure Organics Purifying Fruit Peel ($8.24) Acure Organics is one of the best skin lines around – effective, gentle, and natural. This peel was no different and gently exfoliates without redness or dryness. I will keep using this one, and it’s easy to use because it’s perfect for applying right before a shower.

Bumble and bumble Repair Blow Dry ($3.22) This little sample was totally full all the way, which is always nice! It’s a serum creme that promises to seal split ends, prevent breakage, and provide UV protection. I tried it out and it left my hair super silky and smooth. I used only a teensy bit – a little goes a long way on fine hair.

Vasanti Eye Wonder 2.0 Super Powered Eye Cream ($6.3) I am a huge fan of the Vasanti microdermabrasion cleanser that’s popped up a few time in my Birchboxes so I was excited to try this one, hoping it was just as effective! I love the ultra-moisturizing formula, which uses peptides, active botanicals, and nourishing vitamins to help tone down those under-eye areas. The full size has a cooling ceramic tip, which would be even better.

CLEAN Reserve in Amber Saffron ($1.43) I thought it was interesting that this fragrance is made with sustainable ingredients like Brazilian mandarin oil. Unlike most of the scents I receive in Birchbox, this one was decidedly more sensual (they’re typically extremely floral), with notes of Bergamot Armoise Artemisia, Mandarin Oil, Rose, Lily, Raspberry, Musk, Saffron, Amber. Like all fragrances it can smell radically different on skin, you just have to try it out! After a few minutes this scent was indeed all saffron on me.

A coupon was also included for $10 off your next $50 purchase – use code GIMME!

The Lip Love featured box had a value of about $34, which is great for a $10 box! My favorite products were the Acure & Vasanti, but I always love testing everything out!
