January’s Barkbox Super Chewer has arrived! Super Chewer is a monthly subscription box for dogs “who demand a challenge.” Each box has 4-6 dog products and is customized to the size of your pup, plus it has a cute theme. All natural treats, tough toys, and challenging chews are included in the monthly box. BarkBox will replace a toy for free if your dog defeats it. We selected the Super Chewer box Large Dog for our two dogs that love to chew and destroy toys. Odie, a Borador (half Border Collie and half Labrador Retriever), is the main reviewer. Bella, our mini Rat Terrier, is his assistant.

Everyone checks out the themed paper each month including the teenager!

The February theme is ‘Sniffin’ Safari.’

The featured product is Gunther the Gorilla. Odie will be pleased to make his acquaintance.

BarkBox SuperChewer Medium-Size Box February 2017

Here are the items for the February Barkbox Super Chewer Medium Dog Box. Odie and Bella are ready to put the box to the test. Odie, our half Labrador Retriever and half Border Collie, is rough on his toys. He can destroy his toys within five minutes through play. Bella, our Mini Rat Terrier, feels it is her job to destroy toys regardless of size. She can destroy them just as quick as Odie.

Mini Bacon Dental Chew

I can’t believe I have lettuce coming up from where I let it go to seed last year. It’s been a crazy warm winter! Bella is going to love playing with the Mini Bacon Dental Chew ($11.00). The super durable bacon infused bone will keep her busy for hours.

I am disappointed that this bone was included in the SuperChewer Medium Box for dogs weighing 20-50 pounds. The bone is not intended for dogs over 30 pounds.

Gunter the Gorilla

Gunter the Gorilla ($12.00) appears to be sold out! Odie loved playing with the hard rubber ball. He hopes to see more balls in future boxes.

Butcher Block Bones

Bella is going to love the sourced and made in the USA Butcher Block Bone Tracheas (3″, 2 pieces, $3.00).  The 3″ tubes are hand-trim and slow-roasted for free days. Tracheas are a prized treat in our household.

Lamb Ears

The made in the USA Superior Farms Lamb Ears Dog Chews ($4.00) are an allergen-friendly treat. Bella and Odie were eagerly sniffing over the package.

The Lazy Dog Mutt Mallows Strawberry Chompagne

I suspect the dogs are glamping during their sniffin’ safari trip. The made in the USA The Lady Dog Mutt Mallows Strawberry Chompagne Treats (5.0 oz, $7.00) are a soft treat with pronounceable ingredients. The doggies thought they were tasty treats.

Charlie’s Heart of Cheesiness Sticks with Cheddar

All three dogs are excited to see the Made in the USA Charlie’s Heart of Cheesiness Sticks with Cheddar (5.5 oz, $8.00) which they first sampled in the February Barkbox Large Dog Edition. The second ingredient of the grain-free treat is cheese which is near and dear to their hearts. The doggies thought the handcrafted treat was woofilicious.

Odie, our Borader, and Bella, our Rat Mini Rat Terrier, will be reviewing the Barkbox SuperChewers Medium Dog Box.

Bella

Bella was a happy doggy to play with my sister with a toy more her size. My sister put peanut butter on the dental chew which Bella loved. She chewed on it later in the day.

Bella

Bella savored her trachea which was the right size for her. She ate half of it during the review.

She is multi-tasking by practicing the downward dog while chewing! She was one happy girl while chewing on her treat.

Odie

My sister and I were multi-tasking too as we were trying to beat the rain. Odie is chewing on the lamb ear in the front yard. It did not last long.

Odie

Odie was unsure about playing in Daisy’s photo spot.

Then he decided it was fun to play ball. He is an enthusiastic ball-catching dog.

Odie ad Bella

Odie wants to play ball with Bella. Bella was concerned that Odie ate the other half of her trachea. Don’t worry Bella; we brought it into the house for safekeeping before bringing Odie to the back yard. They ran around the yard with the ball for a few minutes before it started to rain.

Odie and Bella loved their February Super Chewer BarkBox.  They each enjoyed receiving a toy that suits their needs. The rubber ball is exactly what Odie needs. Bella still loves to chew on toys even though she is seven years old! All three dogs enjoyed the tasty treats.  One of the advantages of Barkbox SuperChewer is that it will replace a toy if your dog defeats it.  The value of the box came to $45.00. Barkbox is an excellent choice for doggies and their humans that want fun boxes full of wonderful themed toys and treats.
