SnackFever is a monthly subscription box that delivers all your favorite Korean snacks, as well as other hard-to-find Korean treats. Each month, subscribers will get 5 to 12 Korean snacks and treats, depending on their subscription. Snack Fever is available in three boxes, the mini box, the original box, and the deluxe box, and subscriptions are $12, $20, and $40, respectively, every month. Going forward, the Snack Fever boxes will be themed. Happy Thanksgiving! For November, let’s give thanks to some of our favorite K-food snack hacks.

DEAL: Save 10% on your first original box with coupon code NEWSF10.

The front of the fold out theme card features Mandoo the Jindo and his favorite snack hack. Maybe he’s giving a little clue to something in our box. I’m down for some cake and ice cream.

The back of the card is where there’s some fun. The word of the month is 만두 (mahn-du). Unlike the definition on the card, it means DUMPLING (someone forgot the L). At least you know the oppas at SnackFever are human and prone to mistakes – and this one is pretty funny. ???

There was also some information from Eggbun on learning Korean. Download the app and get your Korean on.

Here’s the November SnackFever Deluxe box!

I’m only showing information on the Deluxe box, but the brochure does include the contents of the mini and original boxes. (Brandy covers the Original box review.)  Click here to see all of our SnackFever reviews.

Orion Gorae Bap: Gorae bap translates to whale food, and Snack Fever says to “feast like a whale” on the sea critters in this box. Think Goldfish crackers, but flavored with cuttlefish and seaweed instead of cheese and with a lighter texture. This box went too fast for me to get any product pictures. The inside of the box contains some kid-friendly activities.

Orion Gosomi Multigrain: These are a sweet cracker that pair well with tea or coffee. The multigrain reminded me of a sweeter version of Wheat Thins. While Koreans like sweets, you’ll find a lot more sweet crackers instead of cookies in the snack aisle of your local grocery.

Haitai Oh Yes! Choco Cake: Fudgy frosting sandwiched between 2 layers of sponge cake and dipped in chocolate… Oh yes, indeed!!! Last month it was the chocolate Choco Pie and now this. Thank you, Snack Fever.

Paldo Gomtang: My information booklet said that I was receiving Seolleong Tang or bone marrow soup. This is actually Gomtang, which is oxtail soup and the one I prefer. It is known for its mild, milky broth. Snack Fever sent gomtang as a noodle cup a few boxes back. This ramen pack is from the same company and will be gobbled up in the very near future.

O-Taste Champong Rice Soup – Spicy Seafood: Another product discrepancy. The booklet says that I was supposed to get a bulgogi rice cup. I’m a little disappointed, to say the least, that I got spicy seafood. However, my dad has gladly offered to take this for his lunch this week. I like these rice cups because they are super quick to make and surprisingly filling.

Lotte Ghana Chocolate Cheese Stick: Last month, Snack Fever sent a full-sized Ghana dark chocolate bar. Now, we get Ghana’s milk chocolate filled with a cream cheese center. YUM!!!

B-G Honey Dipped Banana Chips: I love banana chips, and these were so good. The honey dip provides a little extra sweetness. Plus, since it’s fruit, I don’t feel as guilty for binging on these.

SDC Food Sweet Potato Chips: I was super excited when I saw these in the box. Roasted sweet potatoes were a common snack in my house growing up. I thought these were going to be an actual chip, similar to a Terra chip. Nope. They are closer to a rice cracker in texture. Sorry, I forgot to take a picture, but Brandy got one in her review.

Annie Chun’s Seaweed Crisps – Gochujang: Let me start by apologizing for the picture. I recently upgraded my computer and now occasionally get weird editing effects. I had high hopes for these. It’s a rice cracker with a seaweed sheet on one side. The gochujang flavor was sweeter than I was expecting. I think I would have preferred the original crisps. This worked out for my brother who devoured the bag in minutes.

Girlfriend Drink – Golden Apple: GFriend is a K-pop girl group, and this is one of their products. It is a golden apple flavor juice drink. This was really sweet with a strong apple taste. Some subscribers may have gotten the peach flavor.

Paldo Pororo Drink – Milk Flavor: Pororo the Penguin is making another appearance in Snack Fever. This milky drink contains Vitamin D and calcium to provide kids with stronger bone health. I’m saving this for my little nephew.

Real Candy – Blueberry:  I’ve enjoyed getting the Real Candy flavors in my Snack Fever boxes. This is a mix of blueberries and cream and deliciousness. They’re like a grown-up version of my favorite Lifesavers Cream lollipop.

I don’t know if I could combine any of the treats in this month’s Snack Fever for a snack hack. Regardless, they are all tasty on their own, making me (and my household) very happy. The Oh Yes! Choco Cakes were my favorite item. My family and I look forward to this box each month and it never disappoints. Eat well, my friends.
