Sleek Treat is a monthly subscription of (typically 5-8) full sized confections including specially curated chocolate bars, cookies, and candies made with sugar substitutes.

With how well this box is packed, it’s hard to believe there are 7 items in here.

A postcard sized content card.

The other side gives a more information plus a few warnings.

Chocorite Peanut Butter Cup Patties ($1.44). Only 100 calories and 1 net carb, this candy is suitable for many diets. Personally, these were a little sweet for me, seems crazy that no sugar can lead to a bigger pack of sweet.

Jake Vitamincandy Raspberry ($1.19).

Jake VitaminCandy Mango ($1.29).

These breath fresheners are amazing, sweet and tart for only 45 calories for all 15. They also have 50 percent of your daily recommended vitamin C. I love a dual-purpose treat!

The Good Chocolate Himalayan Salt. An amazing combination of sweet and salty, but I still don’t like dark chocolate. The salt really does help with the bitter bite of dark chocolate.

The Good Chocolate Mint. I love a good mint/chocolate thing, but I think thin mints more than sugar-free dark chocolate.

Amberlyn English Toffee Dark Chocolate ($1.99). Toffee makes everything better! This dark chocolate didn’t have the bitter bite of the others and the toffee really helped to sweeten it without being overpowering. I might even buy this one for myself or my mother-in-law.

Vitalize Mints in Sour Cherry. I love sour candies and these are amazing. So sweet and very tart, I will not be sharing these with anyone. It’s so strange to get a candy that is so flavorful without the artificial colors.

Tisano Chocolate Tea. Wow, just wow. I’m not normally a caffeine-free tea drinker. I love caffeine but this was marvelous. Sweet like hot cocoa but sugar-free and it still tastes like the holidays.

Torras Dark Chocolate with Cinnamon ($2.03). Smooth dark chocolate laced with cinnamon under tones. It would be a wonderful pairing with a glass of wine.

Sleek Treat was full of new products, both good and not so good. What I’ve learned in the time that I’ve been trying to limit my sugar is that sugar-free isn’t always better. I think I’d rather not eat sugar at all than eat sugar-free food. The warnings are true, these can have a laxative effect. With that being said, until you know what your body is going to do, don’t over do these items. I had an idea what would happen and didn’t over indulge but still it wasn’t great. Okay, so dark chocolate is not my thing even with its health benefits. I’m a milk chocolate fan all the way. Please, sugar-free snack companies, create an amazing sugar-free milk chocolate cinnamon candy like the Torra bar! I would love to sample something like that in this box!
