Horror Block is a monthly subscription box filled with some awesomely gruesome horror toys and collectibles. The Horror Block box ships at the very end of the month, so this is the November Box. We are back to a black box this month but it is still the same style with characters on it that we got last month.

First look into my box and I was smiling. Everything fit in perfectly and I saw colors that screamed Happy Holidays to me. I couldn’t wait to see what it was.

DEAL: Grab 15% off your first Horror Block with coupon code HELLOSUB16or save even more with a longer subscription. Enter this code right after pressing the big green review order button.

Everything that came in my November box. Each month we will get at least 5-6 horror related items.

The front side of the information card.

Back side of the card and all of the descriptions. Horror Block has great information cards. They are informative but they also have fun with their descriptions. Make sure you read through them all. We got 4 exclusive items this month. I love getting exclusive options in my box so that they aren’t things I see when out shopping.

Rue Morgue  ($9.95) – Each month we get a Rue Morgue magazine and I read them through. I’m still old school and love reading actual magazines so getting one each month is fun. The articles are so interesting and I love getting behind the scene looks on different stories.

Caroling Gremlins SnowGlobe (Horror Crate Exclusive) – It has been awhile since I’ve seen Gremlins and this really makes me want to pull it up and watch again. First looks can be so deceiving and that is the case with Gremlins. While they look so innocent and cuddles they can be a real handful.

Shirtpunch Cthulhu Awakens T-shirt (This is an exclusive but other Shirtpunch shirts go for $19.99) – My sister is coming up tomorrow before she heads off with friends and I know she will take this one.  I love the holiday theme and it will be fun to sport to less formal holiday affairs.

Freddy & Jason Cookie Cutters ($10.98) – My 8-year-old’s favorite cookies are actually gingerbread and we make them in all shapes and styles and these will make for some fun additions. He doesn’t know these movies but he will still think they are creepy which is always a plus for little boys.

Krampus Bell Ornament (Horror Block Exclusive) – The info sheet says to hang and your own risk since you don’t know if the bell will invite him in or ward him off but we took the chance and hung it on the tree. It is a great bell and I love the look so I think it was worth the risk.

Rabbit in Red by Joe Chianakas (Horror Crate has an exclusive cover but the normal cover is $14.99) – I love books and I was not expecting on in my box but I’m very excited. This sounds exciting and spooky and full of twists and turns. I can’t wait to read it.

Bill Wise has blood in his past, so he turns to horror films to wipe it clean. Jaime Stein has felt the betrayal of death, so she too takes refuge in the on-screen deaths of others. Now Bill, Jaime, and seventeen other horror-loving teens have gathered at Rabbit in Red Studios, the brainchild of eccentric horror producer Jay “JB” Bell, for the terror-filled, blood-drenched contest of their lives.
JB has presented this competition as a race between the best of the best that will reward the winners with cash, internships, and a career making the movies they love. But things aren’t always as they seem at Rabbit in Red, and soon life starts to imitate art. Will Bill and Jaime be strong enough to confront real horror to save their friends, or will they all fall victim to JB’s twisted plans?

This month’s Horror Block was pretty great. While I’m not obsessed with all the fandoms represented they are all unique and generic enough that everyone can love them. With this box shipping so late in the month, I like that they knew we would be getting our November box into December and sent us holiday-themed goodies.

The December box is going to include exclusive items from American Horror Story, Army of Darkness, and Friday the 13th. The box will also include 4 Exclusive to Horror Block items! I love that they keep including more and more exclusive items.

All Nerd Blocks come with a $10 credit for ShirtPunch.com! and on the back side is a piece of a picture. The idea is to collect all the pieces to win and we’ve been holding onto ours. Some pieces are going to be harder to get than others. Nerd Block has also recently launched a new site all of their own and they included a $10 credit for it as well.

What did you think about this month’s Horror Block?
