LaBrada Lean Body ($2.62). I was blown away with this protein drink – 40 grams of protein, 280 calories plus 17 fluid ounces. To top it all off, it has no sugar. I can’t wait to try the other flavors they offer, salted caramel being at the top of my list. This is going to become my new breakfast/pre-workout drink.
Muscle Milk Chocolate Protein Powder ($1.11). Muscle Milk makes some wonderful protein drinks and this one only has 4 grams of sugar. Personally, I think I enjoy the pre-mixed ones better but these travel much easier.
MuscleTech Mission 1 Clean Protein Bar ($1.49). It smells like a brownie but tastes like chalk with a terrible after taste. I was really hoping for a candy bar like consistency and sweetness, but stevia wins out to keep the sugar content low.
Vega Chocolate Caramel Protein + Snack Bars ($1.67). Holy cow these are amazing! It was sweet and creamy. Completely satisfied my sweet tooth without breaking the sugar bank. I will be adding these to my cheat day stockpile.
Sheer Pre-Workout Enhancer ($0.99) Since I have been slacking on getting to the gym lately, I have not had the chance to try this out. I am super intrigued by the cotton candy flavor.
EAS Myoplex Whey Isolate ($1.05). I love to add this to my almond milk for a total of 155 calories and 26 grams of protein. It’s a nice quick breakfast or in between meal snack.
Fit Joy Protein Bar in Frosted Cinnamon ($1.70). It smells like a bowl of cinnamon toast crunch without all the sugar and milk. I prefer to smell it over actually eating it. The texture is too chewy for me with a gritty aftertaste. I love that this product is GMO-free and gluten-free.
Fit Joy Protein Bar in Chocolate Peanut Butter ($1.74). I have not tried this because I wasn’t completely satisfied by the other offering from Fit Joy.
C4 Pre-Workout drink in Fruit Punch ($0.85). Only 5 calories per serving to help keep my energy up while working on getting toned. Fruit Punch is my favorite drink so I’m super excited to try them.
What an amazing way to try new products that will help me stay on the healthy lifestyle track. I loved that each product was pretty low in sugar and calories. I personally wish that more diet friendly foods tasted like the Vega bar. I am excited to be able to incorporate some of these products into my daily regimen. Amazon Prime is basically giving this sample box to you for free, $9.99 and then a $9.99 credit towards a future box purchase, seems like a Happy Holidays gift for me. The total value was about $13.
FYI: This box is still available. Here’s the instructions to get this box (there may be variations) and 3 other boxes!
